I remember watching some of the Big O when it first aired on Toonami. Then it was moved to the Adult Swim block where I watched it last year. My favorite anime couple is actually from that series: Roger and Dorothy. I just love the chemistry between those two characters.
You probably figured this out by now, but I've been reading your blog not out of boredom, but out of curiosity. I even subscribed to it! I look forward to reading more posts from you.
to be honest, i liked the P.I better, but wilson's awesome too. My favorite wilson moment was when he kidnapped House's guitar to force him to hire someone. "Save me!"
Okay, I'm sorry, I know this is kinda random, but I was looking at a discussion thread and just so happened to see your avatar (that of House). On further investigation I was thrilled to find (in your profile) your favorite shows list, and just have got to say I absolutely LOVE House and and I totally love your avatar!!
I mainly wanted to watch it because Mamoru Miyano and Romi Paku are going to play the leads, but once I saw that Madhouse was going to animate it, I added it to my to watch list. I might not even watch the whole thing, though. Yesterday, I applied for a job, and if I get that job, I might have to cut out some the anime that I'm planning to watch this fall.
Since this show is going to be mature, I think Araki is a great choice for the show's director. But with Araki as the director and Madhouse animating it, do you think that people are going to compare it to Death Note?
I've been buying the DVDs (2 discs/9 episodes for $20. It's a sweet deal!), and since there will only be 3 volumes of the DVDs released, there won't be much damage done to my wallet.
