| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Overall a pretty boring episode, but we did get quite a few things moving forward and next episode looks like it could get pretty exciting with Akiyuki finally making it back to Sentan Island for a reunion with his parents. Also, I am definitely putting some money down the possibility for a Haru x Furuichi pairing based on what we saw at the end of this episode. |

| Furuichi is gonna die (i hope), Akiyuki is going to face off Xam'd vs Xam'd with him the result will probably make Haru hate Akiyuki all while the Akiyuki/Nakiami relationship progresses |

| hmmm... pretty laid back episode... i wonder how Furuichi got the thing on his leg... it couldn't have been back at the bus could it? its been too long ago for him to feel the affects of it now.. i also wonder where Nakiami's and Akiyuki's adventure takes them... can't wait for more! |

| Yeah, what's with Furuichi's Xam'd affects now? At least Haru finally gave him the slap he deserved. The end of episode certainly adds some suspense to that love triangle. Interesting seeing Ishu soften up a little. I look forward to Akiyuki returning to Sentan, and the adventure with Nakiami. |
| Wonderful episode with some great moments from the principal crew. Is it just me or did anyone else feel a little uncomfortable when Nakiami said that the humanform soul 'violated' her? What went on inside that globulous black mass!? As for Furuichi's xam'd symptoms I have little doubt he'll end up transforming completely but without the control Akiyuki has and will probably end up being killed by him. I see two ways Bus: I'm pretty sure that is when he got it and so did Haru since she can hear Xam'd? If that is the case they didn't fully awaken since they didn't get directly touched the girl that exploded the bus (since she only touched Akiyuki on the forehead after they got hit by that green stuff) Or the second way is the mine: When Furuichi was by himself when the other Xam'd and came out of it alive (I can't remember if he wounded his leg or arm tho). Which would make Haru just special for hearing Xam'd which is also why the military is interested in Haru's sister too With the mine idea.. That means Akiyuki could also turn people in Xam'd which I think so false which is why I go with the bus incident -Furuichi getting slapped ftw |

| I borderline loved this episode...lots of characters opening themselves up to vulnerabilty...not so much a story driven episode but we are moving to Sentan, so that's big. Probably half of my problems with the show were solved in this episode. |

| I don't hate Furuichi. It took him becoming Xam'd to realize that Xam'd aren't monsters, but at least he didn't kill himself or something stupid like that. That's what I would have expected. I wouldn't mind Furuichi x Haru, as that would open the path for Nakiami x Akiyuki. ^^ |

The doctor warned him about some possible negative side effects if he over trained. I agree with the people that think there will be a Xam'd vs Xam'd fight between Furuichi and Akiyuki. Haru has some mystic ability to hear what Xam'ds are saying so I have no doubt she will play an important roll in keeping Furuichi from going insane if it turns out he is one. I can see at some point this failing though and a full out fight between Furuichi and Akiyuki happening, the result will probably be Akiyuki winning and saving Furuichi from being completely consumed by Xam. Akiyuki's goal after all is to help both humans and Human forms. Just my theory anyway. As for love hookups, after episode 11 I started getting Akiyuki x Nakiami vibes. I do want to see him end up with Haru but from the way things are going it doesn't look like thats how it will be :(. |

The bus was too long ago, and it'd be a sloppy explanation, "well sometimes it just happens slower". I think maybe the anti-humanform weapon is an artificial Xam'd or something? The Furuichi/Haru thing is allright with me, after all they were good friends before he became a complete jackass, and with Akiyuki gone (and with Nakiami) there's little surprise to their becoming a couple. What I didn't see coming was that Ishu/Nakiami scene. WTF? Were there even hints of it in previous episodes, because I suddenly felt like I've accidentally skipped something. |

As Furuichi said, he just wants things back the way they were, could even redeem himself if he can tolerate only being friends with Haru and get over his jealously of Akiyuki, but I don't think that'll happen.. ^^ |
| Honestly, the only way this makes sense to me is if Furuichi knew that he's becoming a Xam'd too after accident, and that's why he hates Akiyuki for letting white haired girl on the bus. But props to Furuichi for not going insane and whatnot even without Nakiami's guidance other two Xam'ds had. I hope for Haru becoming Furuichi's guide, like Nakiami is to Akiyuki. |

Yep, would be great, and a very logical choice from the part of the scenarists. Fantastic episode, very dark, deep with a lot of development, exactly what I'm asking to an anime such as Bounen no Xamdou. And the part with the spirit "violating" Nakiami felt like taken out of an Acperience episode of Eureka Seven, but the rest of the episode didn't. Not much action... but, who cares? At least there's some heavy character/plot developments. |

| I thought this episode was really great, one of my favorites so far actually. The ending with Furuichi and Haru was done to perfection, and it was overall just a beautiful episode. And now things are gonna get interesting with the shift back to Sentan Island. |

Naruleach said: yay Furuichi isn't such an asshole anymore! but I won't be so sure about this and I don't think he will be turning to a Xamd, at least not soon. I am liking the animation and how the characters body langague is there most of the time which is something animators don't care for very much (or rather can't since it means more work) but there's also lots of times when the characters feel almost two deminsional (mostly during episodes with fights). |

There's probably quite a wide age range there. I think it'd be more familial love if anything. I mean, Nakiami did say that Ishu saved her, she probably raised (or dragged her) up. So I don't think it's really in the lesbian sense *yawn*. I thought that the scene between them too was quite wonderful. Ishu's always such a tough woman so it's nice to see a more, maybe maternal, side to her. The scene at the start of the episode was definitely interesting with Furuichi. It'll be interesting to see what he becomes. He mentions later on about the bus incident, but I don't think that it would have derived from that far back, would it? So maybe when he was in the military campaign to obtain the green soul stone. In the caves. I want Haru's long hair back, sure it suits her, but the longer hair was so much better ;_; I really can't wait to see Akiyuki able to fully control the hiruko. It'll be grand. So it looks like we're heading the Tessik village, will be interesting to see the relationship between Nakiami and the girl in the photo. Don't look similar enough to be sisters, maybe chidhood friends? Sentan island first. Looks like it's gonna heat up a bit this episode. Atleast he might actually meet his mum this ep. The poor woman must be going out of her mind with worry, the least he could do is write her too. |

| I feel sorry for Furuichi now. I really wouldn't mind a Furuichi x Haru pairing as long as I get my Akiyuki x Nakiami end. I don't hate Furuichi that much now but I still think he will lose himself in the next episodes and become an antagonist that may or may not redeem himself at the end of the series. |

| I don't like this episode, especially the last part. The only part I like was only when they got down from that ship, now time to see some adventure and action.
