This is my year...or rather Year of the Pig/Boar!!! Kagura of course is my Zodiac character, and I will admit she is a little like me. She can be a "little" aggressive when it's something she loves.
So if you're a Year of the Rat...does Yuki fit you?
What about all those Rabbits out there....are you as cute as Momiji?
Do any of you Ox/Cows go "black" like Haru?
And are the Year of the Dogs as hilarious as Shigure...is that possible?
Looks like i'm more closer to Hiro than i thought. I'm quite honest and timid at times, and i seem to be disorganized too. I want to be a Graphic Designer, and that seems to fit in with Creative. And i seem to have a sarcastic side, but i'm not the best at throwing verbal barbs. Which might be a good thing.
Oh, Thumbsucker, Sheeps and Boars can get along very well. I love this thread idea. ^_^
Ohhh next week Im so gunna do this. I have two resource links on my work comp for both the Zodiac Elemental and Zodiac Animal. If people dont mind giving away there birthdays I can look it up and do a reading for them :P they are usually pretty fun.
I'm like Ritsu, year of the monkey. I am sometimes like him, I'm always stressing out unecessarily and self-conscious........somehow that sentence doesn't have any positive points.......
My chinese zodiac is a rat which matched with Yuki. Although I don't know if I have charms or not, that's up to the people that know me. However, I am a perfectionist and like Yuki I have more acquaintances than real friends and I cherish those close to me.
If anyone interested in finding out the characteristics of their Chinese zodiac sign then click here for a fun read.
I'm a rabbit. Momiji....hmm...though not anywhere near as outrageous as Momiji, I think he was rather insightful and realistic about things in his own way. I liked Momiji in the show - especially his theme music and mood wallpaper... very funny.
My sign and description, and my elemental description: (again just post your b-day and year if you want me to do one for you :P)
Desription:
Being the first sign of the Chinese zodiac, rats are leaders, pioneers and conquerors. They are charming, passionate, charismatic, practical and hardworking. Rat people are endowed with great leadership skills and are perhaps the most organized and systematic of the twelve signs. Intelligent and cunning at the same time, rats are highly ambitious and strong-willed people who are keen and unapologetic promoters of their own agendas, which often include money and power. They are energetic and versatile and can usually find their way around obstacles, and adapt to various environments easily. A rat's natural charm and sharp demeanor make it an appealing friend for almost anyone, but rats are usually highly exclusive and selective when choosing friends and so often have only a few very close friends whom they trust.
Behind the smiles and charm, rats can be terribly obstinate and controlling, insisting on having things their way no matter what the cost. These people tend to have an immense control of their emotions, which they may use as a tool to manipulate and exploit another person, both emotionally and mentally. Rats are masters of mind games and can be very dangerous, calculating and downright cruel if the need arises. Quick-tempered and aggressive, they will not think twice about exacting revenge on those that hurt them in any way. Rats need to learn to relax sometimes, as they can be quite obsessed with detail, intolerant and strict, demanding order, obedience, and perfection.
A valuable lesson for Rats is to learn to consider others before themselves, at least sometimes, and to avoid forcing their ideas onto others. Rats are fair in their dealings and expect the same from others in return, and can be deeply affronted if they feel they have been deceived or that their trust has been abused. Sometimes they set their targets too high, whether in relation to their friends or in their career. But as the years pass, they will become more idealistic and tolerant. If they can develop their sense of self and realize it leaves room for others in their life as well, Rats can find true happiness.
According to tradition, Rats often carry heavy karma and at some point in life may face an identity crisis or some kind of feeling of guilt. Rats are said to often have to work very long and hard for everything they may earn or have in life. However, a Rat born during the day is said to have things a bit easier than those who are born at night. Traditionally, Rats born during the night may face extreme hardships and suffering throughout life.
Traditionally, Rats should avoid Horses, but they can usually find their best friends and love interests in Monkeys, Oxen, and Dragons.
Professions include espionage, writing, politics, law, engineering, accounting, detective, and pathology
(holy shit I am an engineer!)
Elemental Description:
Wood represents springtime when new growth sprouts from the earth. Its associated direction is east. It is associated with the planet Jupiter. Wood is characterized by the color brown or green. Wood's attributes are considered to be strength and flexibility, as with bamboo. It is also associated with qualities of warmth, generosity, co-operation and idealism. The Wood person will be expansive, outgoing and socially conscious. The wood element is one that seeks always to grow and expand. Wood heralds the beginning of life, springtime and buds, sensuality and fecundity. Wood’s influence affects the liver, the gallbladder and, by extension, the digestion. Wood needs moisture to thrive. Its two opposite yet equally emotional forces are rage and altruism.
In Chinese medicine, wood is associated with feelings of anger or depression. Organs associated with this element are the liver (yin) and the gall bladder (yang). The element wood plays an important role in Chinese Astrology and in feng shui.
I'm a horse XD You can only find the horse in the manga, and well I'm a bit like the person, not totally, but there are simulairities (don't know how it's spelled :S XD)
We're somewhat alike, I've got a pretty smart mouth and I often end up saying insulting things to people.
I think I'd probably do the same thing that he did, if I found myself in the situation wehre the one I love was being taken from me.
Well I'm a snake.
At first I didn't see any similarities between myself and Ayame, now I can see a few.
I'm, nowhere near as exuberant or confident as Ayame, and I have no sense of fashion. But I do have an offbeat bad timed humor where I'll overdo jokes so that people are like '"okay, I'm gonna go now." And when I read the traits of snake I can see how they w ere applied to Ayame, and I can see how one may apply them to me, but it's just in different ways.
Year of the rabbit, I guess I can somewhat match up with Momiji since even though I'm already in college, lots of people think I'm like a freshman in high school:( I guess it has it's ups and it's downs, but it sucked a couple of days ago when I forgot to take my ID to the movies and they didn't believe I was old enough to watch the new resident evil movie even though my friends also vouched for me:( damn it lol
I'm the year of the pig.
Sad, but I'm nothing like Kagura.
I'm always quiet, I never express my love by beating people up. I always show it by pleasing them.
I'm not as strong as Kagura either.
And~ I don't really like like anybody.
Which reminds me, this year was the year of the pig!!
ChandraNalaar said: I'm the rabbit, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I want to kill Momiji and use his fluffy organs and flesh to make myself a new pillow.
I'm in the year of Rat, like Yuki. But unlike him I'm not that cool and charming~
From fruits-basket.com
Year of the Rat (1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996)
People born in the Year of the Rat are noted for their charm and attraction for the opposite sex. They work hard to achieve their goals, acquire possessions, and are likely to be perfectionists. Rat people are usually considered aggressive, ambitious, suspicious, and power-hungry, honest, generous, quick to anger and prone to spend freely. Those born under the sign of Rat are imaginative, charming, and truly generous to the one they love. However, they have a tendency to be hot-tempered and overly critical. Their ambitions are big, and they are usually very successful.
Apart from the charming thing, I'm definitively a rat. lol
Hmmm, when I think of Rin's character, we are A LOT alike.
I dunno about the actual traits of the horse though. Can't remember them off the top of my head.
[EDIT]
People born in the Year of the Horse are popular. They are cheerful, skillful with money, and perceptive, although they sometimes talk too much. The are wise, talented, good with their hands, and sometimes have a weakness for members of the opposite sex. They are impatient and hot-blooded about everything except their daily work. They like entertainment and large crowds. They are very independent and rarely listen to advice.
Hm..
I'm born in the Year of the Monkey, Ritsu :D
Haha. Sometimes when I do something and I feel really bad, I'm like 'I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. You can hit me if you want, I'll let you.'
That's like when I'm feeling weird sorry though ^^
I don't go like uber crazy or anything ><
Ah. Tis so funny when he does though :P And it's really cute for some weird reason ><
I'm another one born in the Year of the Snake. ;D Ayame. <3 He was actually my 2nd fave char along with Yuki. [Kyo was first!] But anyways, do I match with him? Well, I took a quiz awhile ago and it ended up as Ayame. XD
It was this:
And for the rest of the info:
Year of the Snake - Slithery Narcissism
Qualities: Romantic, Clever, Discreet, Refined, Intelligent
Grievances: Vain, Procrastinator, Hot-Tempered
Compatible with: Ox, Rooster
Must Avoid: Boar
Nuu. Must avoid boar? I'm actually close friends with some of those lulz. Hmm, well I'm open, optimistic, loud, etc but gee not all are true! For one, I'm not as vain as Ayame haha. But that's what's funny about him.
Year of the Snake
1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001
People born in the Year of the Snake are deep. Snake people are often quite vain, selfish, and a bit stingy. Yet they have tremendous sympathy for others and try to help those less fortunate. Snake people tend to overdo, since they have doubts about other people's judgment and prefer to rely on themselves. They are determined in whatever they do and hate to fail. Although calm on the surface, they are intense and passionate.
<.<; I am kind of like that, but ugh the character is so-so like me. xD
my year..inu~~ though i'm not like shigure, i do know someone who is like Shigure - my classmate, waaa so much alike! like to tease people, but good in the heart~~ probably the combination between Shigure+Ayame.
