Let's see... the first anime I saw was Sailor Moon, when I was little (six or seven, I believe). Then, just a few years ago, I was reintroduced to anime/manga in the form of Magic Knight Rayearth (my first manga~) and CLAMP in general. My interests have expanded since then, but CLAMP will always hold a dear place in my heart and bookshelves.
I read voraciously, mostly fantasy. I'm a huge fan of Robert Jordan, Tamora Pierce, Maria V. Snyder, Stephenie Meyer, and Neil Gaiman, just to name a few (a very, very few). RPGs are awesome; I adore Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy! Um... I love rock, and my heart will forever and always belong to David Bowie. ^^

I'm not sure if I'm going to enter NaNo. Every year I try and every year I give up after the first day. Not even kidding. HAHA. I've had this story idea for it for the past three or four years now, but I can never seem to write it out.
Anyway, I'm glad you're having fun with college life! It's especially fun if it's hectic, as I've learned as well. I'm just going to a community college though, cause I'm paying for -everything- by myself with my part time job. haha =)

You're really keeping up with some of the newer titles! I totally respect you for that! I'm still on episode 1 for CANAAN, Bakemonogatari, Umineko etc. But hopefully when the episodes are all out I'll just marathon them. =D I can never marathon anime for some reason - not enough patience I guess. I'm a multi-tasker.
I really like Japan - he's so suave (lol) and just exudes charm as well. He's the silent but deadly type. Doesn't say anything much, but when he does, he'll make sure that it's heard. I really don't like USA though :) He's just so... annoying! Is there a China?

Jacob was an interesting character in that he was probably much more, actually, considerably more realistic and human than Edward. He actually had problems - and a lot of them, and he struggled a lot with self-discipline and whether he should do what he wanted or what was right. But at the same time, I really grew irritated by how he relentlessly followed Bella around. Bella grew more and more manipulative I think. At the beginning, she was very much 'innocent' but then, well I personally think, she started to relish a bit in her power over Edward and Jacob and the whole clans. I really dislike Kristen Stewart as Bella (she looks extremely manipulative and slightly evil).
They sure was a strange episode. Still great, but very strange :) One moment it was very tense and stressful and then the next they broke out into song. It was like 'shock!'. I started watching Hetalia Axis Powers and at first I was a bit turned off by the character design but it's very unique and funny! =D

Yeah, the first book definitely was the best. I didn't particularly like the second book, because Edward was missing through most of it. And I'm more of an Edward supporter than a Jacob one. The fourth one was just a tad bit too *hmm...* I don't know, it really felt like things fell into place too easily, how everyone got a happily ever after in the end. Too unrealistic. =D That's one of the reasons I didn't like the end of Harry Potter. Still a great series though! Oh, cracking is one of those pet peeves I have too. But sometimes with the longer, larger books, it's almost impossible.
Kure-nai is awesome!!! I'm so happy that I watched two really great series one after the other, first Aria the Origination and now Kure-nai. I love Murasaki - she's going on my favourite characters list, if nothing too bad happens in the series. But, wow, totally awesome show. So unique, and yet very slice of life-ish.

Yeah, I keep reading Faster than a kiss with that hope as well.. xD maybe one day... unless that's the whole point of the manga... to be repetitive... which is sad.
Yeah, Hana just doesn't act her age. It isn't as repetitive as Faster than a kiss, but that similar feeling between chapters is present. If Hana's character were slightly different (younger or older), then it might be more enjoyable. I guess I'm hoping the story will develop in an interesting way... Now that I think about it... I could almost label Hana as a Mary-sue... hahaha
Sorry I haven't replied in a while, I had surgery yesterday. All four of my wisdom teeth removed... Just got ahold of a computer. My face is as big as a chipmunk's xDD Have a nice day!

I actually quite enjoyed Twilight before all the hype escalated into madness. At my girls' school, I was lending my copy of the series to just about everyone and when they got back to me, they were all dog-eared :( Total epic fail on that account - even the 'perfect' Edward should be a little bit 'imperfect', if you get what I mean. Jacob = hot! Hehe - I remember while I was watching Harry Potter 6 this year, the Twilight trailer came on and the first glimpse we got of Jacob was shirtless - and the girls all cheered in the cinema :)
I never knew they were just 5 minutes =D Sounds like short little chunks that might be fun to get into :)

Yeah, it is quite an interesting idea, just like Twilight, but it wasn't executed well enough, just like Twilight =3 There's only so much you can do with that storyline before it got blown out of the water. I really disliked Yuuki for the fact that she couldn't make up her mind for so long - and then chose the wrong guy (well, in my opinion =D)
Aria the Origination feels very much like Victorian Romance Emma in that very serene atmosphere. Actually, I get quite sleepy watching it, since the music is almost like a lullaby, and the colours are so pastel like and warm. =D But I'm enjoying every second of it.
Oh I see you're watching Hetalia. I've always wanted to watch it, since it sounds like such an interesting plot, but I just never got started and now it's expanded into a 52 episode ongoing anime. I'll never catch up!

Sexing up the main male is Yuuki of Vampire Knight's job. Now, that's a female anime character than annoyed the hell out of me! Despite that, I ended up giving Vampire Knight an 8 =p
Porcelain dolls bring up an unreasonable fear in me too - just like clowns. If I were ever to come across either porcelain dolls or clowns in the dark, alone, I would run for the hills :) Yep, I sometimes find it in the manga that during the middle of a very tense, suspenseful moment they have to stop it to explain what's actually going on. And usually it's quite a complicated explanation as well. That's definitely a bit of a downer in the fear aspect of it all. So far, all the arcs have been quite amazing. I can't remember what it was called, but the one where the old man tries to be immortal by soaking himself in the blood of young people - now that was gruesome :)
On a lighter note I started Aria the Origination :) Very soothing.

Kyoko is the ultimate woman - she may seem passive and unobtrusive but once she's got her eye on something, she's almost unstoppable. The unleashing of Pandora's Box was definitely a great metaphor to describe Kyoko's wrath. We need to see more anime girls like her around, instead of those really 'easy to please' ones.
Ghost Hunt is really interesting, but confusing at times because I sort of jumped write into Volume 6. I'm reading backwards :p But Lin is such a great character - the mysterious dark man :) The stories are really quite unique, which is half the appeal. Does the anime differ a lot from the manga?

The Greek gods really did have lots of problems - especially since Zeus hooked up with pratically everyone =p You can't but help feel sorry for the mortals that they decided to play with. Frankly, I think that the gods were just very bored.
Forbidden love is always a great theme for romance anime. Very sad at times, how it shouldn't happen but it would make the world a better place if it did. But forbidden love usually becomes unrequited love, which depresses me severely. I finished the original storyline of 7th Period and it's so sweet /sighs. But now there's an extra story? Help!! sounds like another of those really sweet forbidden romances. And it's great that she also has a goal, I hate it when female characters live simply for the guy. =p
