| To throw my two cents in about the ongoing discussion; the name "Yamada Taro" is essentially Japan's "Jon Doe" or "John Smith", being one of the most common names in the country, as well as very simple to write. (Heck, the name "Taro" in Japanese essentially means "first-born son".) The name's "legacy" is also probably connected to the Yamada Taro of Japanese folklore, though I don't remember enough about it to give a good account. Also, I agree with wpf, I think the "kiri-" that Souma mentioned was her brother Kirio. I think he was testing to see her reaction to her name so he could determine her relationship with her brother and decide if it would be a good idea to let them meet sooner or later. I too thought at first he had dropped part of Yamada's real name, but I don't think even Souma knows that... maybe. |

| I want Yamada as my imouto! Cute episode, Yamada Aoi finally gets some family love from Souma. I wasn't sure why Souma didn't want them to meet, but it was cute nonetheless. I forgot that the male Yamada's name is Kirio. I thought Souma was about to say Kiriko, which would be the female version of Kirio. I thought maybe Kiriko would be Yamada Aoi's real name. Oh well, whatever. We'll see (or not, since shows like these typically never have these kinds of plot solved). |

Yes it slipped passed me that Yamada has been taking continuously advantage of Otoo's goodwill, this along with her obvious lies, it's perhaps understandable why people would think of her as a nasty piece of work considering she isn't helping one bit with her being as incompetent as she is. I don't think however she has any ill will, just immature. And can we perhaps lay off with the insults? This page alone seems particularly bad and unwarranted. Trust built off lies is bad trust. If you only want her for her body then you're a lolicon. She abused the MANGERS (KYOKO) weakness of food to get a job. She lies every time and it's more obvious than a road sign. When she's caught, she keeps adding more lies. She ran away from a caring mother who works hard to provide for her family. Her ideal family is one where she can sit around, get fat, and buy whatever she wants with money that has absolutely nothing to do with her. She is forcefully trying to switch families against the will and DESIRE of the people around her. What I'm trying to say is, she is not beneficial in any way. She's like a virus. | Haha I love Souma, he's so interesting. I wonder why he's so keen on not letting the Yamadas meet though? Even if they met, that doesn't mean Aoi has to leave. Souma x Aoi is cute, but I like Souma x Satou XD It was funny seeing Takanashi react so negatively towards boy!Yamada haha. And he can actually overpower him! Didn't see that coming. He could at least stop Inami's blows if he wanted, he wouldn't need to hurt her or anything, so methinks he probably is a masochist. X3 |
| I like how some of the character don't have quirks just because they can. For example, Inami hates men because her father's crazy, and now they're obviously hinting at something with Yamada and her brother. |
Another nice episode and so far all character development along with comedy have been terrific for me. Truly a better season for progress and laughter. I really liked in this episode the following, Takanashi getting Yamada's brother while he himself can stop Inami's punch is amazing. Not to mention the GAR response Takanashi gave out to Inami as to why he would not sure self defence against her. Also what Souma asked Yamada to get is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shambal%C3%AEleh it's a plant used in cooking possibly as a spice. It is further to note that Inami in the following picture, Made MOE over9000 heart arrest possible. Inami as a loli is too much for the MOE.  Elements list,

Lol at Takanashi mental breakdown, maybe I would go crazy too if my little sister is that high at that age :P Meanwhile, Inami took whatever she could get from Takanashi,, :D "Inami-san kawaii na..!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svPimTz2u9c Takanashi sure leave a pretty good impression for telling that he hold himself to not using his self-defense technique up until now for the sake of Inami so that he wouldn't hurt her. Haha, that's cool. Having that kind of speciality was already awesome but the reason for not using it was far much awesome! Btw, does Souma being considerate at this episode? At first I thought he was just playing, but then lookslike he then changing the reason after saw Yamada going blue when he says "Kiri--". It seems Yamada doesn't want to come back to her home yet. |
