I'm a first year Japanese Studies student at university. Aside from Japanese culture I enjoy victorian literature and classical music. I generally occupy myself with reading and drawing, sometimes even going outside, mind you.

I'm taking a semester off and looking to transfer elsewhere -- I'm thinking about a career in actuarial science, but who knows? I'd rather do something writing-wise but I also want a job when I graduate V_V
You're in Japanese Studies? You'll have to tell me more because I don't think I know anyone studying it.

My day's fine but just getting started. I think I'm seven hours behind you -- are you living in Bulgaria?
I stopped watching Conan at ep. 53, so let me know when you get there. I wouldn't mind starting back with it.

I've only seen the first seven episodes (for whatever reason I stopped watching anime abruptly three or so months ago and left the spring shows I was watching hanging). But I have to say I was enjoying it. Gorgeous animation and high production values overall (which goes without saying), and most of the mysteries were at the very least intriguing. I've been getting back into anime the past week, so would you recommend finishing it?
I'd recommend Carmilla if only because it's a rather quick read -- less than 100 pages.

No problem, I can't say I mind meeting a Gosick fan. Or rather a Victorique fan (she's undoubtedly the most interesting part of the series after all). Are you a mystery fan in general if you're watching Conan and Hyouka?
As for Victorian literature I'll say that I just read Carmilla and absolutely fell in love with it.
