About kyled00m
I don't care to be on Instant Messengers much anymore because I find it just as easy to communicate through email and forums.

I'm 20 years old and in college for Computer Science. I'm straight and enjoy anime and manga. I get drawn in by the special effects of anime sometimes but I usually try to enjoy the storyline presented in each anime. I usually stick with story and character development in manga though. They're more informal and it pushes you towards continuing on to the next page. ^_^

I enjoy hanging out with friends and partying on occasion. I try to avoid repetitive stuff because it irritates me and usually makes me show how much of an asshole I can be. I can be very patient but I try to make sure I arrive ahead of time for appointments.

If there's something that should be listed here that isn't just message me about it and I'll message back or add it ^_^

For those looking to be my friend... I don't like random friend requests.... Send a message and lets say hello first :D or else I'll probably reject you.... I don't reject people immediately though... I'll probably skim your profile and stuff like that first.

I am taking accounting now and am doing really well in the class ^^ I've gotten A's on the first two papers and am hoping for that luck to last the whole class LOL

Fiesta... I am freaking loving this game! I have a level 57 Cleric now and about to have to grind it out until the next level ^^ I just participated in a Jailbreak event but I didn't get any good items, some ramsear and sand hill scrolls, D: I joined a guild a while back and am now a council member in it.

Yesterday we had a guild war, it was five people from my guild against the one guild that we warred and the four others that warred against us, LOL all at the same time ^^ the good thing is that we won four of the five wars.

Well you've been really busy ^_^ My statistics class ended Sunday, I got an A which I am actually surprised about. I didn't do as bad as I thought I would in the class. There were 10 assignments and on the first one I got a C. The others I got A's on. I'm kind of happy right now because of this.

What kind of class are you taking that your paper has to be on the US? Some kind of history? American or is this just the subject for this paper. Its amazing that when you have to do some kind of history paper, you can always think of history from other countries but not from the US :P

Well I've been playing an online game called Fiesta Online, I'm really enjoying it, better than Wonderland Online. I've been playing for about two weeks and I've had about seven characters. I deleted most of them when I got bored and have three right now. My highest level is a level 41 cleric ^_^

My family doesn't travel anywhere either. The only time I went places is when we went to visit relatives. That was either DC or Michigan. I guess I can say that I've been to a lot of states (when we moved from Ohio to Arizona we drove). My purpose for traveling is because I don't like being in one place for long. I like to learn and I've always been interested in other cultures and places so for me going into a career that allows me to do this is natural.

Sorry... im not familiar with dungeons and dragons... Everyone needs their own time, some need more than others... My "me time" happens to take up most of my day everyday ^_^

I also do things like that to get revenge... Or pick out mistakes in the assignments...

I wish my school had an anime club but since we are online, I don't know how that would work out. I am part of the International Student Club though. We discuss different countries and the cultures that go along with them. We usually have a guest speaker who comes and discusses their time spent in that country. Right now i'm trying to get the club to do a focus on Japan. A lot of people in the club want to do it but we don't have a speaker from Japan. Well actually they don't have to be from there. We've had people who were stationed in countries come and speak. Two weeks ago, we had a speaker from Malaysia. She now lives in Oregon but came to talk about how marketing in the country is affected by their culture.

You may get revenge but how long will that take? Its not as satisfying when it takes a long time... You joined a lot of clubs didn't you? What do you mean a campaign? So all your anime club does is watch anime? You could do that on your own. Maybe you should suggest some other activities like discussions or games or something.

Well I'm sure that the math class will get easier in time, especially if math is as easy as you say it is ^_^ I'm struggling a bit with this statistics class that I'm taking but other than that, I'm doing pretty good. So what have your clubs been doing lately? Is your club watching an anime right now?

KyokoBeat | 09-08-09, 8:09 PM
Hey. What have you been up to? How have classes been? And your clubs?

KyokoBeat | 09-05-09, 10:18 AM
So this game is sort of like Wonderland Online?

KyokoBeat | 09-04-09, 10:32 PM
Is the MMO free? What's it about?

KyokoBeat | 09-04-09, 1:56 PM
Wow, you say it like math is really that simple. Basic math maybe... but when they start adding letters and numbers together with greek then its a problem. This statistics class is killing me. I have never taken anything remotely greek and so when he talks about sigma and mu I am at a loss, considering that the professor has a Ph.D in statistics and thinks that we should all just get it. Algebra has always been bad for me and im ready to panic.

What is MMO?

KyokoBeat | 08-26-09, 9:20 PM
I've always hated math, its just that simple. History for me doesn't include much math. I look at it as the telling of a story. Some are more exciting than others and each character has their own quirks which makes their presence or action in history significant or insignificant. I can put myself or attempt to put myself in their position and try to discern why they may have made the choices they did. History is like a really good book ^_^

KyokoBeat | 08-26-09, 7:48 PM
You mean like a comedy club?

I don't feel the same way about math... history is so much better... for me at least

KyokoBeat | 08-26-09, 6:49 PM
Is what your friends were talking about that bad XD?

I hate math, but you already know that... unless its geometry or trig, I actually like those.

KyokoBeat | 08-26-09, 5:25 PM
My teachers in high school encouraged us to prove them wrong. Like I said, we were learning together. I don't think I could go to a regular school and learn. Self-study and independent learning has become my learning style. Was calculus hard?

KyokoBeat | 08-26-09, 12:22 PM
That does sound rough and I understand where you are coming from. I went to an early college academy though and so I kind of just expect to teach myself. Most schools aren't probably like the one I went to though. I think a big part of it was that almost all of my professors and teachers were under the age of 26 and were attending the same college as I was. They were still getting their degrees and so we were learning together more than they were teaching us. So it was natural for us to go out and learn ourselves.

KyokoBeat | 08-26-09, 11:45 AM
I was always taught to go above and beyond what the professor is teaching. The material they provide is just the basics. Professors aren't there to teach you but to help you learn because they are still learning. Its up to you go and learn it even if that means you have to go further than you think you should have to. Thats how I have been learning since middle school anyways ^_^
