Akagi is another anime about gambling men although it involves the game of mahjongg while One Outs is about baseball. The character design of Tōa Tokuchi is similar to Akagi's character, but then again the Madhouse animation studio has assembled a team of veterans from Akagi for the series. I will make more recommendations as the show progresses.
Similars graphisms,
thoses two are about sport,
and one unknown [really great] person enter in the team.[Tokuchi Toua for One outs and Kobayakawa Sena for Eyeshield]
But One outs is pretty most mature than Eyeshield !
They don't rely on action but tension and suspense created from an ensuing battle of the wits.
You could say that the Pitcher is to Kira as the Batter is to L or vice versa.
Both have sports themes, with a character that has an extra special talent. Both involve strategy and a character that struggles to win competition. I just watched one outs and now am enjoying ippo immensely.
Baseball pitchers. Both pitchers seem harmless at first, nothing special. Slow pitch. But their pitching accuracy and talent soon make people change their minds about these pitchers.
Pretty much the same aura around both of these animes. OneOuts is about baseball gambling with alot of money on the line. Both of them use there wits to outsmart the opponent but there is always someone with money they can try to scam...
If you like sports and suspense in your anime then look no further. Both are highly entertaining and highly intense so watch it soon ;)
Both are about a great strategists who are able to foresee the actions of their rivals. Both make you want to watch the second episode immediately.
it's the same sport. whit guys extraordinary talanted for baseball.
Well, the aura of competition and the amazing abilities of the main character seem to be the same. The progression in revealing the character and skills of the main character seems to be the same, as well. The main differences are that One Outs is much more adult in content and tone, and we're dealing with more of a team sport since it's about baseball rather than tennis. The characters in One Outs are much more adult-looking as well, but I believe some people (OK, I mean women especially) can definitely find something to feast their eyes on! In addition there's quite a bit about gambling, both in the strict sense, and as a personality trait.
It's about baseball too and it's really good.
Both main characters are pitchers and they love to challenge others.
Tokuchi Toua is super-intelligent and has an unusual ability, Goro Shigeno is really talented player, always learning new throws and working on his physical abilities.
One Outs shows more about unusual strategies, tricks, kind of "mind games". Major concentrates on courses of matches and physical abilities.
one more anime about baseball. but a lot more psychological.
