Well, continuing on your topic about bias in reviews, I think I found another series which had more helpfuls of the review which actually had a more negative rating compared to the average score.
Angel Beats got an amazing rating of 8.5, except the most helpful reviews are either a 7, or an 8. I only saw one guy giving it a 10, and only about half of the votes were helpful.

It's not hard again. Just imagine that a simply good series is a 5, a bad series is 3 or less and a very good series is 7 or more.

It's not that hard. Just consider a famous overhyped series to be average and give it a 5, then do the same to all those similar to it in enjoyment.

Just remember while voting that good scores go to far fewer anime than medium. It wouldn't mean anything if all your animes are rated high. Masterpieces are called that because there aren't many like them.

Yes I watched an episode for Arakawa Under the Bridge using my old comp, it loaded for years so I gave up watching, guess I'll when I feel like watching it.

I just wanted to point out that the reason Reborn takes about 60 episodes to get into the plot (isn't it more like 20? I don't know, I only read the manga and in the manga it's 60 so I assumed it'd be shorter) is that it was serialized as a comedy manga, and then due to it's high ratings they changed the setting into a battle manga. That's all, really.

Ah, perhaps you are correct. I was instead talking about how low the percentage goes.
Although I believe the lowest comparison I have ever seen is with twelve. So I would take the gamble and say twelve give or take three.
