I'm glad you're enjoying Visual Prison. The rating is very low but I love it so much. Because I'm a fan of Are You Alice? (same character designer), UtaPri (same author), some voice actors (GORGEOUS!) :D

Ah dang, that is unfortunate. But I’ll be sure to look through media for other artists with your tip. I’d just prefer someone that can understand English, which would have been difficult through the only artist website I really follow (Pixiv). $75 is cheap compared to the artist I was looking at xD Think it would have been about $550, if not double if they deemed a non-monetized web novel cover as “commercial”. I like their art but not sure for that much haha.
I can do some graphic design for logos but not much. And some artists don’t let you alter the art too, which can be an issue if you wanna turn the image into a vector. I used to be a fairly popular user on this website so I would have used a snippet of the art in my signature picture in the forums fo advertise my novel.

Thanks for the tips! I’d be sad if people didn’t at least give my novel a chance. Thinking it’s going to need a good cover to help catch some eyes. Do you have a commission link to the artist that made your cover? I fairly like the art style and the only other artist I have in mind costs a small fortune haha. The good thing about self-publishing is we can choose our covers unlike traditional publishing which just give bland, generic covers.
