10 = Outstanding/Masterpiece. A score reserved for only the best of the best and shows that are either completely flawless or with very few flaws minor enough not to take away what so ever from the experience. (Only the "overall" section can receive the "Masterpiece" rating since the word "Masterpiece" can only be assigned to a complete piece. Calling a show a masterpiece is more logical than calling the animation a "masterpiece".)
9 = Fantastic. Shows that invokes some serious emotion and makes me think about what message the show is actually conveying. It might have one or two flaws that take away from my enjoyment or maybe there's a section of the show that isn't up to par with the rest.
8 = Great. Genuinely enjoyable shows that deserve high praise and much attention. I'd easily see myself re-watching these with a friend.
7 = Good. Mostly enjoyable with aspects that I didn't enjoy too much. Will most likely not watch these shows again except for certain exceptions.
6= Fine. Enjoyable to a degree with certain aspects that I either hate or dispise. Hardly worth the time.
5 = Average. Either completely bland or an even amount of pros and cons. These shows will most likely be dropped after a few episodes.
4 = Poor. Nothing is insultingly bad about the show but it almost completely lacks positive aspects.
3 = Terrible. I would almost prefer to watch paint dry over watching these shows. Nothing good about them that actually matter. Might have pretty animation or a good song or two but that's about it.
2 = Appalling. I honestly WOULD prefer to watch pain dry over watching these shows. Completely lacks in every criteria and makes me wonder who the hell thought that these shows were good enough to release.
1 = Abhorrent. These shows made me feel insulted on a personal level. They should never be mentioned let alone watched by anybody ever again.
Note: I do not personally recommend any anime that I assign an overall score of 6 or below to unless you're a huge fan of the genre/genres the show is composed of. Even so, all shows and/or movies that receives a 5 or below is considered a huge waste of time by my standards and is by no means recommended. There are a select few exceptions to this rule however, since there are shows that you should watch to get a point of reference of what a terrible show actually is.
If you're wondering over my review score system it can be found here:
My way of deducing the overall score of a show is fairly unusual compared to the norm. Since I don't consider sound and animation to be nearly as important as characters and story in the making of a show, I won't value them equally. Therefore, the score levels in both sound and animation will only be worth 0,5 points each while the score levels in characters and story will be worth 1,5 points. For example, if a show receives an 8 in story, an 8 in animation, a 7 in sound, an 8 in characters and a 9 in enjoyment this means that the animation and sound will only be valued at 7,5 (8+7 = 15/2 = 7,5) and the story and characters will be valued at 24 (8+8 = 16 x 1,5 = 24). The average is then calculated as (7,5+24+9 = 40,5/5 = 8,1) which means that the show will receive an overall score of 8. This way, shows will be more fairly judged based on what I find actually matters.

The purpose of this club is to try and create a community of talented writers who would like to make a more reliable scoring system than the one currently provided by MyAnimeList. Instead of a show being scored by a hundred thousand no-names, we would have the scores for a show coming from well-written reviews by anyone who is willing to participate. All of these reviews will be able to be accessed through our forums, so the mean score for each show will be more personal, since you'll know who's contributing and who isn't, and you can read what everyone thinks.
If you're still not entirely sure if this club is for you, you can go HERE for more details
If you’re not particularly interested in joining, I would like to know if I can have permission to use some of your reviews for the aggregation.
The club is still relatively new, so things aren’t too official or polished yet.
We are at the beginning of the season and at the Anime Guild our main specialization is being a Seasonal Club.
We choose the best Opening, Ending, Character and of course Anime of the Season with also a Review Section and a Power Ranking Group
If that seems appealing to you, you should join in for the full Fall 2016 experience!
I have already sent an invite as well as provide a link to our club ^.^ - http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=63899
