In the wilderness of solitude
As I see it, flickering
Drowning shadow of your voice
Vanishing mirage of your lips
In the wilderness of solitude
As I see it, blooming
Flowering oasis of your sight
Beneath the sand, the dust of longing
Somewhere nearby
As I see it, rising
Blazing fire of your presence
Consuming in its own fragrance
Silently, secretly
Somewhere far away
As I see it, glittering
Falling, bit by bit, the dew of your presence
As if your long gone presence
Makes me realize again
In the midst of a vacant dawn
That the day has just ended
And the night has just begun
In the wilderness of solitude
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.

I, on the other hand, must practice my absent-
mindedness, memory being awkward as a touch
that goes unloved. Lately your eyes have shut
down to a shade more durable than skin’s. I know you
love distance, how it smooths. You choose an aerial view,
the city angled to abstraction, while I go for the close
exposures: poorly-mounted countenances along Broadway,
the pigweed cracking each hardscrabble backlot.
It’s a matter of perspective: yours is to love me
from a block away & mine is to praise the grain-
iness that weaves expressively: your face.
Dr. Stone, Fire Force, Vinland Saga, Dumbbell, OMadiens, Cop Craft, and Given are all the ones I'm enjoying/keeping my eye on. There's a lot of trash like Hensuki, Maou-sama, Arifureta, and Bem. Also a bunch of mediocre filler that I'm watching for no reason.
