Not much of an otaku, more likely a cinephile. I'm mostly working on advertisement field as an editor. Working on live-visuals these days, I want to shift to that completely if there is a pay-off. I don't feel elderly, gee I'm still young, but it's safe to assume I'm one of the older in this community.
From time to time I crave for some good anime to watch. I like my anime go surreal or philosophical all over me, but I will try out anything as long as it is not generic, so let's say there is room for slice of life and pure action too. Though I tend to dislike anime with a set of teenage characters that takes part in world altering events simply because they are chosen and such (which consists %95 of the field). I feel genre blind, there isn't any particular genre that turns me on except for hard sci-fi which is rare outside literature. Guess you got the deal.
P.S. : My main aim is to gather people with quality lists under my friends. If some chit-chatter or even comprehensive conversation comes along the way, I'm just as fine. If you are going to talk to me please be aware I value netiquette and despise tweaked one liner language.
My life is constantly getting busier so I gotta differantiate rubbish from candy. When I look for a new show to watch friend lists intersection points will present me with a set. There are many people that follows the scene closer than me with good tastes, so I'll be sending out friend requests as I come across such profiles. This doesn't necessarily mean our compability has to be very high, I'm interested in particular and distinct tastes more than anything. Whether or not to accept is up to you.
P.S. 2 : I decided to delete ratings for shorts and directly related OVAs of series and moved them to -on hold-. Since everything counts as a singular entry regardless of length or episode count they were interfering with my compatibility scores. I left distinguishingly good shorts as they are (7+ for me).
P.S. 3 : Is it very common to soak your sugar cube before letting it go?
