I really liked how you got your point across about Dangan Ronpa with that short review of yours- its great. I agree almost completely, too.

Blue titles are those anime that are sequels or continuations of something already on your list
Red titles belong to those anime that do not appear on your list
Green titles belong to those anime that are on the "Plan To Watch"section of your list

Nisemonogatari: This is a more obvious choice being the sequal to Bakemonogatari which you have seen. Not many details are needed here as it is just a continuation of a story at the same level of quality. There is a great increase in ecchi content in Nise, however. It is something to keep in mind.

Gosick: A good bit of mystery is here. If you aren't taken by the cases they solve almost each episode then perhaps you may like the subtle romance or the rather heavy sub-plot which turns the typical detective stories on their heads.

Mahou shoujo Madoka Magica: A couple of plot twists will obliterate everything you think you should expect from a magical girl show here. Many people think they know what happens in an anime based on a picture or a synopsis. Won't work here. Evangelion and Sailor moon had a child.

Gunsliner Girl: Japan has an obsession with cute girls and violence. We all know this. Moe and innocent characters are a staple of the anime industry. The archetype gets old honestly. Opinions tend to change though when you are reminded that a child is still a child no matter the circumstances.

Summer Wars: Visually outstanding and wonderfully written. the moral here is not just about family and friends, but the power relationships in everyone's time of need

Ghost in The Shell SAC: 2nd Gig: What is there to say? The plot seems to thicken. Section 9 is back and just as badass with a case just as mysterious and deep as the last.

Steins;Gate: when you had clarified what it was that you actually look for in anime I was a bit shocked not to find this. I was almost disappointed. I won't reveal anything here other than you should almost feel bad for not having seen this. I wrote it off as filler for awhile before I broke down and watched it.

The next three make artsy and "off the beaten path" understatements.

Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei: Indie is appropriate here. The groundhog day theme got slipped a little LSD.

Mindgame: Simply put, "the butterfly affect".

Kuuchuu Buranko: this made me really believe that you have to be a little crazy yourself to treat a crazy person. Who thought so many people with OCD could be so entertaining.

I will end/cut this short with this: Watch all works by Satoshi Kon. You enjoyed Paranoia Agent and Perfect Blue. My personal favorite is Paprika. I know a ton more, but there is merit in discovery.

Figured you would say something close to this. The thing is that you latch on to things like stylization, dialogue, morals and lessons learned, themes an character development. This is good. It shows that that you don't just watch but observe. However, in anime, things like that aren't easily expressed in a cover photo, summary, or a number from 0 to 10

let me do this part now though: I would like to apologize for my initial response to your request. when coupled with your list it I simply thought that you were a fan of anime period. You might not see it, but your interests are quite broad when compared to your average anime fan.

Perfect. You have given me all I need. If you want to add anything please do. Just give me some time to make a good list for you. I hope you find something you like.

Well what is it that you normally find in common with your favorites or the shows you gave perfect tens?
