I am a "2007-core" otaku whose primary interests are "moe" anime (CGDCT), shoujo, yuri and "Evangelion-core" anime. I am open to most genres, however battle shounen series do nearly nothing for me barring a few exceptions. Outside of anime, my other otaku interests in tokusatsu, chambara films and JRPGs. Non-otaku interest include German philosophy, entry level computer science and CRPGs. Feel free to friend request me, I accept all of them.

Rating Scale:

10 - Life Changing/Affirming
I give this rating to anime/manga which reflect my personal values or significantly changed my perception on life in some way. A "10 rating" does not necessarily mean that I enjoyed every moment equally, rather it's the synthesis personal enjoyment, aesthetic appeal and thematic cohesion.
9 - Exceptional
A "9/10" describes a series that I resonated with significantly but has a moderately significant fault that prevents it from being exceptional, such as uneven pacing or underdeveloped plot elements.
8 - Great
This rating describes series that are well crafted yet have a few glaring problems or generic elements that left me disinterested at some points.
7 - Good
Most anime I watch completely fall into this rating. I would describe this rating as the "default good" rating which I would assign series that are well produced but are mostly generic or have elements that I am apathetic to.
6 - Okay
A "6/10" describes series that are competently produced but are mostly forgettable.
5 - Meh/Controversial
This score describes average or "mixed" series that are polarizing.
4 - Below Average
Anime that are "generically bad" or blandly forgettable.
3 - Poor
Memorably bad series that might have one or two redeeming factors but should be avoided regardless.
2 - Trash
A "2" describes a show that's either cringe worthy or ineffectual in creating any emotional or intellectual stimulation.
1 - Kuso
Series that fail on every level to be entertaining or engaging and usually provoke disgust or offense in some way.
