❀ Up & coming AMV producer & anime streetwear brand creator: @eternos.design. Here’s a sample of something me & my buddy created together via screen printing technique. Shameless plug.
❀ I’m not exactly an elitist, but I'm also not exactly a fan of generic-hollow entertainment either. I value shows that take risks against the norm, in good taste. I just like good shit.
❀ My personal favorites are titles which transcend the medium, and offer a profound & visual experience that's not always found through the means of live action filmmaking.
❀ The same could be said about the music, films, and art that I gravitate to. However, some generic entertainment isn't so bad once in a while.

❀ My biggest setback would ultimately be my nagging procrastination & my vexatious stubbornness to start anything, including new anime I’m interested in. (Hence the number of anime I have completed thus far.)
❀ I also have a pestiferous habit of delaying my response time to anyone, so my apologies in advance if I don’t reach back in a timely manner; it’s not personal mate.
❀ I collect anime, & I’ve obtained some grails that I would never sell. I used to collect on a regular basis, but with the rise of daily expenses, that has been postponed.

❀ I hope to finish all the titles that I’m interested in, as well as discover gems in this lovely medium, but time is of the essence with IRL work and all; so that’s somewhat depressing. (Plays sad Texhnolyze track)
❀ With all that being said: I’m not sure how half of you mates on this platform have completed so many anime - considering how time consuming it can get, my respect goes out to you mates. Let’s all LOVE LAIN.

Hi, I'm trying to start a club for critical and knowledgable anime fans. I came across your account in the "arthouse anime" club and you seem to fit the bill. The two purposes of the club are to foster community via the club Discord server, and to create a robust poll of the "greatest anime of all time", voted on by members in a thread on the front page of the club. Each member would post their personal top ten list in the thread, titled "Post Your Top Ten", and then eventually I will compile all the lists into a final aggregate. Katsuhiro Otomo adaptation of Osamu Tezuka work inspired by the Fritz Lang classic: Metropolis

I don't know how much this is talked about today, but at the time it was released there wasn't much stuff like it, so it was very popular: Animatrix.

Also Paprika I guess, also very famous.

I've read your "biggest setback", so I won't inquire about big names I'm surprised to not see in your Completed list, neither gonna push you to watch them because I know how annoying it can be, but I saw Memories in your shelf. The first story Magnetic Rose, written by Katsuhiro Otomo, adapted by Satoshi Kon, and directed by Koji Morimoto, might be one of my favorite anime ever - and that's a dream team for me.
Do you have any method through which you pick new stuff to watch?
