This movie was a breath of fresh air!
I enjoyed everything about Jin Roh. The movie does a really good of capturing emotion and storytelling. I really like how throughout the film, you really get a feel of the atmosphere and world of Jin Roh. Examples like the time period of WW2, seeing old school volkswagens, the type of clothes people are wearing roaming through the streets and feeling the animosity between the two parties fighting.
Not much bad things I can say about this film as I mentioned before that I enjoyed everything. Characters, Music, Animation, and Plot were all top-notch imo. I will say, that
...
this is not a happy-go lucky story as it does touch on some serious topics throughout human history like war, social radical change and terrorism. Additionally, I love how you can see the MC, Fuse, trying to break free from his hardcore soldier lifestyle to something more unknown to him like having a normal life but it doesn't last too long. The story and animation does a good job distinguishing those type of elements to help the viewer understand him more.
To conclude, I do highly recommend this film to anyone who hasn't seen this masterpiece yet!

Just finished Trigun and I have to say, this show is newly one of my favorites and will have a quite a hold on me in the future because I was that moved by it.
Not knowing what to expect and after finding out that Trigun came out the same year as Cowboy Bebop and Serial Experiments Lain in 1998, I kinda knew that this was gonna be fire.
I had a lot of fun watching Trigun. The opening and ending are unforgettable because the artwork and music are masterfully done. What really brings this show to life is the worldbuilding and atmosphere of Gunsmoke, along with
...
its' main characters such as Meryl, Milly and Wolfwood. Then there's Vash who puts the cherry on top! The planet of Gunsmoke can be seen a place filled with dangerous cowboys, bounties and firefights at every turning corner. However, there's a flip side to this where people who are trying to make ends meet being that they're bartenders, a donut shop owner or working at a power plant to help their city or village stay alive to live a peaceful life.
One of my favorite parts of the show is how Meryl and Milly have proven that they're not weak characters and how impactful they are to the story and for Vash as they tag along with him. It's refreshing to see female characters who aren't afraid to fight and another of my favorite scenes of the show is when [Spoiler Warning] towards the end of the show when Vash remembered that he had shot Legato in the head, killing him (breaking his rule of no killing), that he started to go crazy by doubting himself and feeling worthless due to breaking his rule. While Meryl and Milly never left his side, they consistently tried to feed him and show him endless acts of compassion. Seriously, if it wasn't for them I'm not sure Vash would find himself whole again because that moment really broke him. And that's just one of them, there's many scenes throughout the show that captures emotion really well!
I would give Trigun a 10, because it's masterfully done that tells a compelling story of the Legendary Gunman and Tragedy of Vash the Stampede!

The fight is on!
Now you may wonder what I'm talking about? If you haven't watched S1 please go do so because it may contain some spoilers.
Picking up where we left off, a couple of the sisters has some good character development coming into this season and ending it. First Miku, shy girls are always interesting because they have a lot more room to improve or expand upon and that's the case for Miku. When she declares her interest in Fuutarou towards Ichika, it was proud moment for Ichika to hear her younger sister to finally admit her feelings but to also become very certain
...
about it and even fight for it. Like yes Miku!! Be honest with yourself :) . Another sister who probably had the best character development throughout this season was...you guessed it Nino! Because she starts as very cold and mean towards Fuu and even drugged him. She also fights with Miku a lot, they're literally polar opposites. Miku is shy and reserved while Nino is headstrong and when she is sure something she goes full throttle on it. When she discovers that she has feelings towards Fuu, she doesn't hold back and won't let anyone stand in her way or as Ichika called it "Nino's runaway train of love" LOL.
She even has her own arc in this season and it doesn't disappoint. I even said it from the first season that Nino is possibly my favorite out of the quintuplets and after watching this season it just strengthens my case.
Eventually all five sisters want Fuutarou for the same reason and to themselves. But who will Fuutarou choose and does he ever find out who that girl was from his childhood picture that made him change who he is today?
Also, Raiha is adorable and a good wing girl for her older brother. She also understands the approach Fuutarou has to take when something goes wrong among the sisters with him being involved or not. Kudos to you Raiha!
I give this season a 9 as well because it didn't feel rushed, pacing was good and I enjoyed it!

Ok I'll make this short and sweet!
When I started this anime, I had no expectations. From start to finish, I genuinely enjoyed this show. Because it was breathe of fresh air to watch how this story was gonna play out. Fuutarou trying to help these girls pass their exams and them not liking him or wanting to study but eventually they all warm up to him and "somehow pass". All in all, it's a love story that's just waiting to unfold before you. You will see lots of chemistry grow and build between Fuutarou and all five sisters. Now you may ask, how does all
...
five sisters get respectable amount of screen time? Well they are quintuplets and there's hardly a moment when are they aren't mentioning each other.
However, each sister has one on one conversations with Fuutarou, whether they want to talk about school, each other or personal life. It's interesting to see which sister(s) eventually start to develop feelings towards him and vice versa, and that's when the funny moments balances out the show. One of the best things I did to enjoy this show even more was to challenge myself to learn all five quintuplets names without looking it up and I didnt get it until episode 9 or 10 of the series. But nevertheless, Team Nino all day haha.
I'll give this show a 9 because I thoroughly enjoyed it for everything it presented, like even now I already miss it.
If you read this review thank you and I hope it helped if you decide to watch it.

After finishing this series I must say...I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Initial D has become one of my all-time favorites. Surprisingly, this show got me back into cars like how I used to when I was younger and I'm even more of a fan now than before.
I enjoyed every plot twist, funny and thrilling moments that had me on the edge of my seat. Some of my favorite ones were whenever Takumi pulled a new trick up his sleeve, all the guys working at the gas station talking about the new upcoming races or how Takumi beat an skilled opponent, or even when
...
Ryosuke would give advice to Takumi before a race starts and many more especially whenever Bunta was on screen!!
There's not many bad things I could say about this series because all the elements of what made this show is amazing imo. There are at times some things feel like it is repetitive however it's not unwatchable because the series has good pacing and surprises you. I love everything about Initial D and I can't wait to watch it again whenever I choose to in the future.
Lastly, it's very hard to choose which Stage I like the most but as to who's my favorite character is, that would have to be Keisuke Takahashi. Because his character development shines throughout the series along with a couple of others however once I saw that yellow Mazda RX-7 FD for the first time I was sold!!

I'll try to keep this short however bear with me if it's lengthy.
The theme/narrative/story of Tatami Galaxy is very simple from what I got from it. Because from my take it's a love story, and our MC overthinking things and trying to live in his ideal life of what he thinks his life should be. And as time progresses he loses himself in the process and took what was given to him for granted. So simply, the message is just go out and live, and grab the opportunities that are in front of you is what I got from the show.
Aside from that, they were
...
a few minor flaws with the show but not enough for me to drop it. All in all, I did enjoy The Tatami Galaxy very much.
I wouldn't recommend this to everyone because of it's speedy dialogue and that can trigger some watchers and end up not enjoying the show. Also, it's not your typical anime. However, for those lovely individuals who are more experienced with anime or simply can adjust quickly to a speedy dialogue and love the philosophy mediums then this might be next in your queue :)

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is easily a top tier shonen anime!!
When I first watched this series, I didn't make it past the first few episodes because I was skeptical and ended up sleeping on this masterpiece. In my mid teens at the time. However, after re-watching and finishing the series several months ago, man I was wrong! FMAB is one of the greatest stories and anime I've ever seen.
Reasons being is because it has everything you could ask for and does everything right and brings it justice. Most, if not all characters feel important to the story. Awesome soundtracks and character designs, the emotions of
...
whether there's an intense fight scene, awkward funny moments or even the sad and horrific backstories of it's characters. All in all, this is an awesome anime and most people who I've asked about this series usually say great things. Looking for flaws, I didn't really find much except at first listening to Edward complain a lot but as the story unfolded I appreciated him much more. Looking back at this series, I really had a fun time watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Enjoy!

Let me start by saying that this is one of those shows that got hooked from preview, to the soundtrack and then overall what a great series it turned out to be.
Zankyou no Terror was a show I looked forward to watching for quite sometime now. The concept of the story was always interesting to me and I'm glad story it was executed greatly imo. Great characters all around that make the story that much better. So what's the story about? At first glance it looks like terrorism even though that's what got me hooked because I've never seen an idea like that executed
...
before however as the story unfolds it's more than that. Something beautiful in a way. Not giving away any spoilers but I feel that if you like this series this anime will definitely leave a mark on you.
My overall rating of this show is 10/10 because I enjoyed everything. Also the series only 11 eps so that's very easy to watch in a day.

Another hidden gem of cyberpunk anime
How can I explain what Texhnolyze made me felt when I watched it?
Scared and mindfucked but something about the show was deeper the more I got into it than just reacting to what I saw on the surface of it. And that was philosophical messages, the psychological theme about it, and how depressing it may seem but I found it interesting more than anything. This show and I am proudly to say NOT FOR EVERYONE. To be able to get into this show I definitely recommend watching Neon Genesis Evangelion, Serial Experiments Lain or Ergo Proxy before watching this because
...
those shows will help you get a feel for something dark and methodical as this. But back to Texhnolyze, it's gritty, dark, no funny moments at all, twisted and sad but texhnolyze really brings what Cyberpunk is all about and that's low-life, advanced tech, and radical changes in social order. To the previous shows I mentioned before I love them all equally but this show probably was the deepest I felt. In the city of Lux, it is a shitty town nonetheless but there is something beautiful about it because of it's characters that unravel the story before you.
I give this a 9/10 because it has become one of my favorites. Story was great, character wise most of them are a bit off putting at first or a while then they got better lol, pretty good art style, sound was great and after finishing it I enjoyed everything about it.

One word if I had to summarize Monster...BRILLIANT !!
Monster has always been an anime I've been dying to watch for past 6 months now and having that I just finished this wonderful, dark , twisted, horrifying story I am glad to say that is no doubt one the best if not the best polished story I've come across in my life right now. For anyone wanting to check out this anime, I will gladly recommend this to you! For me I was hooked from start to finish watching this series and I have to own it on dvd because it's that good and I've really
...
connected with all of it's characters. They're amazing to me and they all fill an important role in the story. Final verdict 10/10, if I could rank the story i would give it 15/10 because it was that mind blowing to see how Dr. Tenma, Johan, Nina, Lunge and so forth come together to make the story what it is. Lastly, great soundtrack throughout the show, Op is amazing and the 1st Ending is my favorite, the other endings are not so bad.
If you're ready for to see a masterpiece of horror, mature, plot twists, and brilliant storytelling definitely go check out Monster. It is a bit long and some people might say the show is slow at times however I didn't feel that way but if you don't mind that, the show will gladly present itself for what it is a MONSTER.
