I see, HxH is definitely rewatchable material :D Same! I hope that one day it's continued. I've heard that the manga gets even better after where the anime left the story. I didn't like the first eps of the Chimera Ant arc, but I couldn't stop watching after Kite's death o.o My favorite arc is Yorkshire, for me it was almost perfect!

Uh. It's a very hard series to recommend due to a variety of reasons. If you're interested in a story that psychologically tears apart its characters piece by piece, exploring themes like depression, neglect, suicide, narcissism, familial drama, exploring sexuality, and self-worth on deep and intricate levels it's a for sure thing. Some people can't get past the main character's pessimistic personality and if you have issues with concepts like individualism you may not like it either. It doesn't hold too many punches if you've got any deep problems that affect you greatly relating to any of those, I'd hold off on it unless you prepare yourself for it going in. If none of that bothers you, I'd say check it out and see how it feels to you, though I will say it starts off like a regular monster of the week show with giant robots and has a slow burn into a character drama where every problem that affects them begins to affect them on a larger scale. Even those moments have some nice growth though, like social issues and issues with authority. Evangelion is a lot of things, and it's really hard to put into words why someone might like it in a general way because I think there's a lot in it for different kinds of people. Though I'll warn you, a lot of people have a ton of problems with the last two episodes, if you're not aware, since the animation, for lack of a better term changes drastically and becomes much more surreal and simplistic, we're talking live action clips mixed with half colored storyboards on white canvases...but it works to some degree for the effect it goes for, that part is just really divisive.

No problem and thanks: I'm just tired of seeing bad arguments everywhere. So hopefully that being in the open mitigates them somewhat ;)
