I like SAO, I really do. But if every review on a recap episode that does not bring anything to the table is an 8 or a 9, there's some clear misinformation going on.

[6] Story - they cut 2 cours into a 24 minute episode, it's not going to substitute for watching the anime, it's not that entertaining imo as to rewatching the entire first 2 cours, and it doesn't add anything new.

[6] Art - no major improvements here, which I'm a bit upset about. I'd like to see some Ordinal Scale quality art for a recap airing on SAO's 10th anniversary year.

[9] Sound - read more

Knight's and Magic is a isekai / mecha anime and while it does feel a bit bland towards, the unique blend of idea's as well as the fitting art does it well.

Forward // May contain Spoilers

Story 6: D
The story does feel lacking in some parts as they skip past several months of development or chapters of novel in a few short seconds. Although the main character is reborn into another world of his dreams, his past skill and knowledge were only briefly mentioned in the first few episodes before being lost. The amount of content feels worthy of a 25 episode full season anime, however, read more

This was overall an average anime hence the 7 rating. Basically a C.
Based on the way anime are rated in MAL this def doesn't deserve a 6 but isn't good enough to be a 7.5 or above.

I found this anime to be entertaining. It wasn't enough to keep me excited through the whole thing, but it definitely had its ups.

Story: 7 - 6 / C - D
Now given that this is a harem anime, you can't expect a decent story out of it. It's either harem or it's story. However, the concept of this world and the idea behind bringing a smartphone to another world read more

Preliminary
I've been buying and following this series as a manga. Yuri is definitely my thing and I was pretty excited when I heard this series was getting a anime adaptation, but, looking at the studio that's doing this and their past works, I can't tell if it's the author that's the sucker here or the studio.

Overall 5/10 - F
This is probably the lowest score I've given. Yuri anime itself is definitely not bad, look at Sakura Trick for example. This anime brings shame to the genre.

Story 5/10 - F
Downright failure. This studio is better off firing their director and replacing him/her right now on episode read more

I literally flew to Japan to see this movie and I have to say it was pretty amazing. Artistically speaking, definitely the best anime or anime movie ever made. However, the story felt a bit rushed. A set of movies or even a 12 episode alternate series would have worked better and you`ll understand why if you see it.

Story 8/10
Great story but it definitely feels rushed even with almost 2 hours. Tet recalls the story of 6000 years ago before he becomes the one true god and it pretty much explains who everyone is and the survival of imanity, however, they just go over way read more

I really don't go out of my way to review anime, but the reviews on this anime are quite harsh to be honest. Like 3, 4, 5. I also agree that this anime wasn't the best but some of these reviews are almost as dumb as the people that write them.

Overall: 8
I gave this anime an 8, since it was interesting to watch. It did get long and somewhat boring to watch at times but it was also quite enjoyable to watch as it was completely unpredictable. Although you're feeling that extreme lack of explanation, it was quite emotional, to be honest. It's read more

Overall an outstanding anime. This is a super bias review, but it's my opinion and my review so yeah, 10/10! But I have to say, a lot more thought was put into this than the original light novel series and you can tell that Reki Kawahara is improving and taking note of all the mistakes done when SAO LN 1 was released. Plotholes, character depth, all of these are accounted for in his new works and this movie. Seriously, props to him and A1.

Story 9/10
Since Reki Kawahara released the first SAO Light Novel and when A-1 adapted the first four, the movie really stepped up read more

This anime was good, despite the negative reviews on the series. These critics ramble on about realistic settings and how it becomes unbelievable when they are talking anime in a setting where magic exists.

The anime was made to entertain people, and I would say it does a great job and is more then capable of doing that. It is not a historical documentary so all these "otaku" cough* hating elitists, should take their dissection to history class and stop trying to rip apart an anime that is worth watching.

Some people won't understand my ratings, since I rate 6+ passing, 5- failing anime. The mal, ratings read more

Overall this anime was a 7.

It's an anime, anime is entertainment, and watching it was entertaining and enjoyable, so it's a 7.

Spoilers:

Story: 7
Other then the extremely close resemblance with Infinite Stratos the story is about a prince that helps overthrow his country to save it, since it is corrupt. Up to that part, it's pretty nice, and even seems to deserve an 8, however, once you throw in the lack of explanations for the "ruins" and "drag-rides" it lowers it to a 7. All in all, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.

Art: 7
Decent art, pretty much average / standard for a 2016 anime, not read more

Overall: 9
This anime has gotten a lot of negative / bias reviews and that's pretty unfortunate since this is one damn good anime. People are rating anime on random bullshit like how realistic it is and the depth of the plot. Like what the fuck? Anime is made to entertain, not fit your needs. But enough about that.

Story: 8
Good story, plot, progressed, characters had background and depth. Definitely is one of those either loved/liked it or didn't. It definitely did not make sense realistically, but works out great as an anime.

Art: 9
I gave this anime a rather high art rating since it honestly deserved this read more
