(i mainly rate on a negative to positive opinion scale, so consider anything above a 5 "good enough".
10- A masterclass in the genre. If not entirely perfect, touched me on a personal level. A must-watch in my opinion. *Recommended*

9- great. A near-perfect piece of media with a clear purpose and incredible story telling. I probably wouldn't change anything if given the chance, but for some reason this didn't convince me to award it a 10. *Recommended*

8- very Good. I had no major issues at all, but it probably left me wanting a bit more. *Recommended*

7- good. I probably enjoyed it, but there wasn't much going on for it to be any better or worse than decent. *Recommended, but lower priority.*

6- decent. If completed, I enjoyed it. I likely had a major issue with at least one key element, but it wasn't completely irredeemable.

5- meh. Often performs the bare minimum. i would call it average, but the real average is actually a bit better than this.

4- dislike it. there was probably at least one glaring issue

3- Just bad, I had a multitude of problems. Might've felt like this completely fell through on it's potential.

2- Comically terrible/bad in an interesting way. i enjoyed these for the wrong reasons

1- There was literally nothing going on here. Not good in an uninteresting way.
