Tbh, my impressions of this series really improved the second time around. It's just quite unfortunate that the collective memory or perception of the show is solely focused on how terribly it ended. I really have to give props to the sheer concept and ideas it was able to transmit despite the poor production scheduling, and I remember there being a homophobic producer as well who restrained the creative input of the directors and staff members. All in all, the dynamic of the main cast clicks well, and there are some really inventive and cool concepts that are somewhat realized, and it ultimately serves as a stark reminder of the importance of a healthy production environment.

I initially wasn't vibing with the first ED, then after the second episode did I realize, wait a minute it changed!!!, and it's pretty cool (despite not liking some of it) (tbf im only on ep 5)

honestly, I like the anime better because while I like the full-colored pages of the manga, the plain color choices just irks me a tad bit (basically spoiled by how gorgeous the colored-art in Shadows house manga is).

There are noticeable differences right away from how the story was structured so it was nice to see what was removed/added/arranged for the ultimate viewing experience.
