Before I know this manga, I also read 'Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san' which also focused with their two main character. Nishikata with Takagi at school days. But when I still on-progress reading that manga, I had know author also make another story which tell stories which they both already married and have a child.

Honest review about this story is very light, easy to understandable, each chapter have short story which contain explicit meaning that usually Takawi will tells the reason why she's always tease Nishikata (and now their child also like how her mother teasing habit). Reader will taken by a straight story which have ... no heavy conclict, that makes this manga is recommended for read while chilling time or just relax. Different with another manga that contain complicated conflict, this manga doesn't contain about 'heavy conflict' instead just like arc before (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) but the background is about how they already an adult.

It was fun about reading experience, sometimes I laughing by myself because reading some chapters. Also there are few chapters that contain deep meaning such as how parenting works, and the reason why Takagi tease Nishikata in meantime. This manga is suitable and recommended to read while you feel like exhausted and want to find a light story manga which contain no heavy conflict.

[MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD]

This manga was a great read! After watching the anime, you get to see the Takagi and Nishikata married and playing around with Chi, their kid. Its extremely fluffy and follows the characters through not only different holidays, but also everyday activities as well.
I only have two problems with this manga. Throughout the 205 chapters, about 3 or 4 years have passed and Nishikata and Chi stay the same. Nishikata still gets EXTREMELY flustered when Takagi teases him, even though they are married and Chi stays the same size the whole time, only changing when the random "future" chapter happens (which there ... are only like 5 of). Other than that, its a fun read if youre looking for something heartwarming since the interactions between the characters are always wholesome.

I know I get some far heat but I never read/watched the original but I do get the og's premise

my goodness gracious it this manga adorable and wholesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the cute family dynamic and chi is sooo cute.

really my only nitpick is a kinda wish for some character development from the husbands, but old habits die hard I suppose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also not much "stakes" or "tension" if you will. like the og was about whether the two character will get together but this more focuses on slice ... of life scenarios and character interactions

It a heartful and simple manga and one I'd highly recommend
