Pretty sad to see that the only manga which actually went closest to one piece , (in terms of sales) and owned the other wsj titles , has finished :(

It actually hurts to see that Reborn sold more volumes than gintama </3 but mah well, I just want more volumes released over here.
The others are pretty predictable though, though it also pains me to see Bleach up there :/

As far as I know, as "sensei" is an honorific showing the speaker's deepest respect for the addressee's work, beside teachers and doctors, artists (for example, novelists, film directors and mangaka) are often addressed as "sensei" in Japan. I definitely do not say that it is not something to brag about ^^, just that it is not just him, but most (if not all) of his colleagues. ^^

I mean no offense, actually, I am yet to check out One Piece..

I wish Gintama anime would resume airing sometime soon! ^^

forgive me if my interpretation is wrong but I think what ringoo4 meant is that Oda is either being called God as in GOda= God Oda or Oda-Sensei,.,

he doesnt mean that God in Japanese is Sensei because clearly God in Japanese language is Kami and Sensei- is definitely what you just explain.,.
