I bought over 50 volumes this week and not a single one made the list. :/ I guess only a fraction of them are new. ![]() |
I'm happy for Vagabond. ![]() Your search on "Oran Solus" returned the following quotes: "Oran Solus? I know him. What a wanker. He still owes me a tenner." Oscar Wilde "Oran, you're so intelligent and awesome <3" Bakayaro "Oran's sexy." LolitaDecay "Oran is a sophisticated penguin." Drybananna "Oran is a Hand-Eye you faggots." EddieSpaghetti "Oran for Prime Minister." the_prime_one "Oran is all that is stated in his sig and more." orbitzz |

In just one week, it's sales almost equals the total for all of the other big manga out there. :D Glad to see the respect in Japan. ![]() |

Wait... One Piece beat second place by nearly over a million? Is this right... Anyway... Vagabond, Gintama and Nodame Cantabile all in top ten. Woohoo. ![]() Like Japanese films? Swing by the Cinema of Japan club! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ |
Now I'm quite new noob to the subject of Manga sales, but what do the 2 numbers from the same entry indicate? For instance: 15, *,*39,098 1,176,688 Fullmetal Alchemist vol.23 On many entries the value in both numbers are the same. Also, what's with the * (stars) and , (commas) ?? ![]() ... Even if I took time to write alot of intelligent words of deep thought and meaning in my signature, would you really care to read and comment on it? ... |

The first number indicates the number of sales that specific volume has accumulated for the week specified. The second number indicates the number of sales that volume has garnered to date. So if the two numbers are the same, it means that the specific manga volume was just released this week, as is the case with One Piece. In the case for FMA, it's already been out for a few weeks, thus the first number is drastically lower than the second number. The *'s denote empty digit fields, from what I believe. And the commas are your typical separation of hundreds, thousands, millions, etc. Like one million is 1,000,000. And nine hundred thousand is *,900,000. ![]() |
