Are they trying at all with the synopsis? "ordinary high school boy".... might as well put "a cliched plot for you to rant about"

Another SHAFT (+Shinbou Akiyuki) Win! Puella Magi Madoka Magika. SHAFT's really picking up momentum nowadays. Can't wait to see what kind of unique result they're gonna come up with for Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko!

From what I know, Dance in the Vampire Bund and Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei was the only 'lol budget fail' animes they've ever done.
Oh, I see... well that's a bad thing I did on my part; I should've done my research. The only anime that I know from SHAFT are Dance in the Vampire Bund, Bakemonogatari and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (<- though I've never seen it yet). Either way I loved Bakemonogatari and Shinbou, Akiyuki's style so I have high hopes for Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko.

Liking BMG doesn't guarantee liking their other shows though, Bake is pretty different from their other shows.

Don't forget Hidamari Sketch S1, wasn't a failure though, but definietly ultra-low budget (that's why its 5,000 sold copies were a huge success)

SHAFT is making this look like a worthwhile watch now. The story is already pretty good, so all that's needed is some solid adapting and animation.

I like SHAFT but knowing them this anime could go two ways... the low budget fail of Dance in the Vampire Bund or the ultra win of Bakemonogatari... Looking at the director too... Shinbou, Akiyuki... Who knows how this anime will turn out?

Quality character design guaranteed. SHAFT is finally getting on the track.

I could never go wrong with anything SHAFT for the most part, and the premise interests me, at the very least. I'm actually somewhat anticipating this anime, even amidst the generic main character. It seems interesting enough!

Oh no? not Shaft and Simbo again. We'll get one more pseudofubby, pseudointellectual random crap with totally open final. I liked the plot so watch ep. 1 but don't hope for anything good now.

I like to give every SHAFT show a chance, so I'll definitely give this a try, but I'm not expecting much.

I'm interested to see how Okame Asuka will be, I liked her Liz in OmaHima earlier this year :3

It's SHAFT, I'll watch it. -shrugs-

Plus the girl has blue hair and every time I see her out the corner of my eye I think she's Konata. That's as good a reason to watch an anime as any. XD
