Hirano Aya Takes a Temporal Leave Due to Mental Stress [Update March 29]

Seiyuu Hirano Aya announced in her official blog that she was ordered to take a sick leave by the manager. She has been ill since this January and was hospitalized twice due to gastroenteritis and cold. The release of her new single CD and two fan club events were canceled and she will be absent from the upcoming White Album live event to be held in April.

She said the sickness resulted from her mental fatigue and no physical problem was found. She confessed her distress at the situation and promised the return in the future with more mental strength.

Hirano Aya posted a new entry "Don't worry" and revealed she had been in the sick leave and will resume working tomorrow.

I'm just saying but she's not just a seiyuu you know? She might not be loaded with roles, but she's a singer too, as well as a model, and who knows what else is going on in her life. It's not up to you to decide whether she's a hard worker or not.

At least this wasn't something like that event that Kamiya Hiroshi got a traffic accident and was unconscious for1 month... (If he died there, no zetsubou-shita... D:)

Aya is not a bad seiyuu... just overrated. I like her voice a lot; cheerful tone. I hope she gets back.

That's what I was aiming for with my post. Obviously I sucked at it. orz They've entered the profession at different times and they have their different strengths. But ever since they were both cast together in White Album a few years back they've been compared against each other every 5 seconds since. Which is kinda sad since they're both good friends irl and they're quite a successful match up together. Like in the Animelo 09, DISCOTHEQUE/MonSTAR mashup for example.

I agreed on your points there.
