'Zegapain STA' Movie Announces Staff and Cast for Summer 2024

The official website of the Zegapain: STA (Zegapain: Statement Alpha) sequel anime movie unveiled the main staff, cast, a teaser trailer, and new teaser visual (pictured) on Friday. The movie will open in theaters in Japan in Summer 2024.

The original Zegapain anime series aired in 26 episodes in Spring 2006. The story follows Kyou Sogoru, an ordinary high school student who is led by a mysterious transfer student, Misaki Shizuno, and gets involved in a battle against giant robots in another world.

The Zegapain ADP summary movie opened in Japan in October 2016. The movie, featuring new scenes, commemorated the anime's 10th anniversary.

@EcchiGodMamster The return to sequels of old series is especially ironic when you remember how hard they tried to be new and appealing to kids with the latest Gundam.

Does Sunrise's any original mecha look like AU Gundam from the 00s? I understand that this is a sequel to an old show, but it's like I already watched this anime back in the day.
