I was looking for more information pertaining to this ever since the parent series, Estab Life: Great Escape, an original series (or I guess technically "mixed media" and tie-in with some game coming out around the same time) came out last year in April of 2022, since the sequel film was announced in close proximity. At some point it was retitled and then finding out more updated information about it online was difficult, at least that was available to read in English. It looked like potentially it had been canceled. I thought this was a possibility since I couldn't imagine that the main TV series was that popular, but I'm glad to see it was not the case. The TV series was lacking in visuals due to the usual complaints and issues with CGI, in some areas it was kind of rushed and lacking in characterization (of some main characters more than others) due to its length and limited number of episodes, but it was still rather unique, creative enough, and fun. I want to see the characters and/or ideas it presented expounded upon in some way. I just hope this isn't one of those films which takes a year or more from its release date to actually be available online on the pirated media aggregators.

3D CGI again. Horrible. They need to do it traditionally, without all this.

I don't know to feel about this. On one hand, Polygon has a hit-or-miss track record. On the other hand, the visual effects are amazing and the cast is solid.

It could be good, but I don't expect it to be amazing.
