Main Cast and Additional Staff Announced for 'Mushikago no Cagaster'

A new promotional video for the anime adaptation of Kachou Hashimoto's action sci–fi manga series Mushikago no Cagaster was released through Netflix's official Twitter account on Thursday. The promo revealed the main cast and additional staff, as well as the opening and ending theme songs. The anime is set to premiere worldwide on February 6.

Hilcrhyme will perform the opening and ending theme songs, titled "Be Zero" and "Okubyou no Ookami," respectively. Studio Kai will also replace Gonzo as the animation studio. Previously announced staff include director Kouichi Chigira (Fullmetal Panic!) and Okinawa Gonzo, who will be in charge of the 3DCG.

What exactly is giving Netflix the idea that CGI is the way to go for most of their originals? Do they not know how much it's hated, especially when it's done this poorly? I don't get the logic here.

My thoughts exactly, they should focus on producing quality 2D animation instead or quit entirely.

Netflix with its CGI boner at it again. Just fuck off. This is not what people got excited about when it was announced Netflix will invest billions of dollars into anime. Now theyre wasting money on nothing. Giving the money away on the streets would roughly give the same results.

Whoa, that CGI animation looks really baad.. lol.
And here I was so excited looking at those many well-known cast and the fact that I've read the manga a bit and it was pretty good.. XD

The CGI looks bad, they should have used it sparingly instead of making 90% of the anime in CGI. This completely ruins the anime. That all star cast is wasted on this, such a shame! :/

Nightmare CGI from hell again. Pass. Only one I could stomach was Baki and that was only CGI for fighting scenes which made good use of it.
