'Mashle 2nd Season' Reveals Additional Cast, Opening Theme, Teaser Promo

The official website of the Mashle (Mashle: Magic and Muscles) television anime series announced additional cast, a key visual (pictured) and a teaser promotional video on Sunday for the second season. The anime is set to premiere in January 2024.

Orter Mádl: Yuuki Ono (Blue Lock)
Kaldo Gehenna: Nobunaga Shimazaki (Tokyo Revengers: Seiya Kessen-hen)
Sophina Biblia: Saori Hayami (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta…)
Renatus Revol: Kishou Taniyama (Bungou Stray Dogs)
Tsurara Halestone: Tomori Kusunoki (Zom 100: Zombie ni Naru made ni Shitai 100 no Koto)

Hip-hop unit Creepy Nuts (Yofukashi no Uta) is performing the opening theme "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born.", which is previewed in the teaser promotional video below.

Tomoya Tanaka (Engage Kiss) returns to direct the television anime at A-1 Pictures. Yousuke Kuroda (Boku no Hero Academia) is handling the series composition, and Hisashi Toujima (Blue Lock prop design) is designing the characters. Masaru Yokoyama (Urusei Yatsura (2022)) is composing the music.

Hajime Koumoto began drawing the action comedy manga in Weekly Shounen Jump in January 2020. Shueisha published the 18th volume on October 4.

VIZ Media simulpublishes the manga in English and shipped the 13th volume on September 12, while the 14th volume is planned for a December 12 release. Shueisha's Manga Plus platform also simulpublishes the manga in English.

@RobertBobert Pretty much add in some funny faces and creative action scenes and it's a pretty entertaining action comedy.

@RobertBobert It's pretty much what you described it's like a harry potter world where the MC says "I cast fist" and just leaves people speechless with his absurd antics and unintentional smartass attitude like telling a villain he's cringe and needs to get a job

Is it worth watching? I like battle shonen with a certain amount of humor, but the character designs aren't exactly my cup of tea.
