Girl's Trading Card Game Lilpri To Be Animated

According to the cover image of Pucchigumi magazine February issue, SEGA's trading card game & manga "Lilpri" was announced to get a TV anime adaptation.

Lilpri Yubipuruhimechen! is SEGA's fourth kids card game series targeting at small girls between 6 - 9 years old. Two manga adaptations by Jinna Mai have been serialized in Pucchigumi and Shogaku Ichinensei since 2009. The series features three small kids, who long to be an idol. They transform themselves by a magical dance into high school girls.

Alteil is completely free. Although prepare to get owned by paying players though.

And recently, Wizards (Magic) has been "announcing..." too much. Prepare to spend all your money on the new products :/

This doesn't look like a playing card game, but more like a collectible card game....

Well, this doesn't surprise me. The Japanese Magic Circuit has usually got some good competitors, and their World's Team is usually pretty good.

Add to that the fact that even after all these years Pokemon is only just starting to wane in popularity in Japan (from what I hear anyway, it may have started a fair while back, but I know that if it's still popular enough to warrant new card expansions, new anime seasons and new games, it's still going pretty strong), I'm really surprised they haven't tried doing a girls card game show already. Or maybe they have and I missed it.

Either way, I'll watch the first ep, if it's about the cards like Yugioh, it's dropped, if it's like Pokemon, I'll give it a few more eps.
