'Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita 2nd' Reveals New Staff, First Promo for Winter 2024

The official website of the Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita (Banished From The Hero's Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside) anime series unveiled new staff, the first promotional video, and a January 2024 premiere for the second season on Sunday.

Satoshi Takafuji, the director and storyboard staff of episode nine and the ending sequence, will direct the second season at Studio Flad. Makoto Hoshino, the first season director, will serve as the chief director.

Studio Flad and Wolfsbane produced the 13-episode first season in Fall 2021. Funimation simulcast the anime with subtitles and an English dub.

Shin no Nakama adapts Zappon's slice of life fantasy light novel, which he originally launched on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2017. Kadokawa began publishing the series under its Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko with illustrations by Yasumo in June 2018 and released the 12th volume on April 28.

Monthly Shounen Ace began serializing a manga adaptation by Masahiro Ikeno in May 2018. Kadokawa released the 11th volume on May 26.

Yes Press licensed the light novel in English in November 2019 and released the ninth volume on July 25. The tenth volume is planned for a January 23, 2024 release.
