'Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita 2nd' Announces Additional Cast

The official website of the Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita 2nd (Banished From The Hero's Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside Season 2) television anime revealed the additional cast and a key visual (pictured) on Wednesday. The anime is scheduled to air in January 2024.

Cast
Van: Yumiri Hanamori (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken)
Lavender: Ai Kakuma (Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu)
Cardinal Lub: Satoshi Mikami(Dr. Stone: New World)
Esther: Aya Uchida (Tensei Kizoku no Isekai Boukenroku: Jichou wo Shiranai Kamigami no Shito)

Satoshi Takafuji (Lord of Vermilion: Guren no Ou chief director) is helming the anime at Studio Flad. Megumi Shimizu (Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!) is handling the series composition. Ruriko Watanabe (Dame x Prince Anime Caravan) is designing the characters, and Yukari Hashimoto (Jitsu wa Ore, Saikyou deshita?) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Zappon 's slice of life fantasy light novel, which he originally launched on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2017. Kadokawa began publishing the series under its Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko with illustrations by Yasumo in June 2018 and released the 12th volume on April 28.

Monthly Shounen Ace began serializing a manga adaptation by Masahiro Ikeno in May 2018. Kadokawa released the 11th volume on May 26.

Yes Press licensed the light novel in English in November 2019 and released the ninth volume on July 25. The tenth volume is planned for a January 23 release.

I really hope that the story will remain wholesome with a little bit of action like first season was and that it won't turn into some cringe edgy, weird drama piece of crap. Let's hope for the best
