Original TV Anime 'Pon no Michi' Announced for Winter 2024

An official website opened on Tuesday for an original television anime titled Pon no Michi and revealed the main cast, production staff, teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2024.

Synopsis
Jippensha Nashiko, a high school girl living in Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, was in trouble after being kicked out of her house. Very welcome news, I would fancy Saki getting s3 more but i'll take it nevertheless since it's been too long when we got a mahjong anime (Jantama Pong doesn't count cuz it was short-length).

This is far from the first time, but yes, I am also disappointed that the original anime lately is increasingly looking like an adaptation of some kind of generic non-existent manga or LN.

I still don't know how to play mahjong, but I will watch it any since it takes place in Onomichi City which looks really nice in real life.
