'Saihate no Paladin' Season 2 Reveals Production Staff, Additional Cast, First Promo, Fall 2023 Premiere
The official website of the Saihate no Paladin (The Faraway Paladin) television anime revealed on Friday the production staff, new cast, teaser visual (pictured), and first promotional video for the second season. The new season, subtitled Tetsusabi no Yama no Ou (The King of the Iron Rust Mountain), is scheduled to premiere in Fall 2023.
Shouya Chiba (86, Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e) is joining the cast as adult William G. Maryblood.

The anime adapts Kanata Yanagino's adventure fantasy light novel, which they launched on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in May 2015. Overlap began publishing the novel with illustrations by Kususaga Rin the following March and released the fourth and latest volume in September 2017.
Mutsumi Okuhashi (Hai to Gensou no Grimgar) began drawing a manga adaptation on the Comic Gardo web manga portal in September 2017. Overlap shipped the tenth volume on October 25, while the 11th volume is scheduled to release on April 25.
J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga adaptation in English in 2016 and 2019, respectively. The fourth novel volume went on sale in April 2018. The ninth manga volume shipped on February 8.

lots of changes from the previous season and shouya chiba voicing the mc?! might have to actually complete season 1 ngl. OLM can either be a hit or meh, no misses tho.
