I really hope its a alternative ending to each sister. Like I mean that would make all the fans happy, right.

unfortuantely this is typical "i think i've seen more than i actually have" thinking
theres nothing really "new" about any of the concepts in anime being adapted today, i mean... there was an ecchi OVA about a guy getting turned into a dog in the 80s lol
theres always been "trends", but nothing like todays isekai/reincarnation and the issue i have isnt that theyre isekai or reincarnation but its more so that theyre ALMOST ALL medieval setting with pretty much the same kinds of monsters, with an overpowered/unbeatable male lead with short black hair and some main girls that may or may not matter... like... i mean, laziness hasnt gotten any more obvious than that
i agree theres hella anime that need sequels and theres plenty of cultured/hit manga that could be adapted that aren't stuff we've seen 100x now, but the people at the top of industry dont necesarily care what certain fans want, so they just play it safe, and are afraid of risk, at least it seems that way now
at least part of it is due to the increase reliance on foreign market/aid due to the declining population, and increase in money coming from outside japan, so im pretty sure that at least to some degree affects whats being made
Quintulplets was HUGE and is a pretty recent adaptation, so this is no surprise whatsoever
They all could cry in an alley with their stances and ideology but Japan wouldn't give a f#ck about it.
i honestly wasn't even thinking western fans when i said that, as theres plenty of genres/types of anime that have gotten cucked over time lol
theres probably a decent amount of japanese fans just as annoyed by having so many copy paste/ai generated isekais and or reincarnation a year lol

Looking how anime industry is heading in the recent couple years , and with the japanese mindset of anime culture getting worse . I can only say R.I.P to those golden past years that we witnessed glorious series that needed sequels and yet studios don't give a damn about them and don't even look at them ( DxD series , Fullmetal Panic , Yona of The dawn .. etc ) imagine going from these great titles to adapting " someone turned to a dog , and other isekai series about some loser Reborn as a Vending Machine ..
Holy shit ..
