'Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu' Unveils Additional Staff, First Promo

The official website of the Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu (The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World) television anime unveiled additional staff and the first promotional video on Thursday. The anime is set to broadcast on January 6 at 1:28 a.m. on TBS, followed by BS11.

Masahiro Takata (Tenkuu Shinpan) is directing the television anime and handling the series composition at Cloud Hearts. Makoto Shimojima (Kingdom 2nd Season) is designing the characters. Tatsuhiko Saiki (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta... X) and Natsumi Tabuchi (Akuyaku Reijou nano de Last Boss wo Kattemimashita) are composing the music.

The anime adapts Nana Mikoshiba's action fantasy light novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2019. Kodansha began publishing the novel under its Ranobe Bunko imprint in July 2020, with illustrations by Riko Korie (Juuou Mujin no Fafnir). The sixth volume shipped on October 3.

Norihito Sasaki began a manga adaptation in Magazine pocket in June 2020. Kodansha shipped the tenth volume on October 7, with the 11th volume set for a January 6 release.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in October 2021 for digital release. The second volume went on sale in December 2021, with the third volume scheduled to be released on January 3.
