'Liar Liar' TV Anime Reveals Main Cast, Staff, 2023 Premiere

Advertising company CyberAgent opened an official website for the television anime adaptation of Haruki Kuou's Liar Liar light novel on Friday, revealing the main cast, staff, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2023.

Kuou launched the psychological game light novel under the MF Bunko J imprint with illustrations by konomi in April 2019. Kadokawa published the 11th volume on July 25, with the 12th volume scheduled to ship on November 25.

Funa Yukina began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Comic Alive in August 2019. The second volume shipped in November 2020.

And GEEKTOYS is also the one that made all these disasters known as Plunderer, Hensuki, ReRided and that one Taiwanese Three Kingdom anime that nobody cares about as well. So what's your point?

They're so goddamn inconsistent when comes to their production quality that it makes 2017-2021 J.C Staff looks like ufotable level of great by comparison. I suggest all of you guys just take them with gain of salts and don't expect too much from them to avoid disappointment. The only anime they're working on that seems safe so far is Dead Mount Death Play due to the staff team actually has some experienced staffs working on it.

At this rate I don't know which is worse, the studio themselves or the fanboys trying so hard to defend them when they have only seen one or two of their works.

I hope after all their upcoming anime released, people will finally realize the reality and stop jumping into the bandwagon believing they're great studio simply because of DAL IV.

this seems interesting. the staff is meh. GEEK TOYS seem busy rn but they are decent which is nice.

Been planning to read this for a while now, maybe now is the time.

Don't know how I feel about GEEK TOYS but the character design looks good, although I still prefer the one from the LN.
