An official website launched by Unlimited Produce by TMS announced a television anime adaptation of Yoshifumi Tozuka's Undead Unluck manga on Friday. The anime series in being produced by David Production (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken, Enen no Shouboutai) for a 2023 debut.

Synopsis
After reading the conclusion of her favorite manga series, Fuuko Izumo finally feels ready to end her existence. For the past 10 years, Fuuko has been afflicted by a condition that brings extreme misfortune to anyone who touches her. This has had a drastic effect on her surroundings, even inadvertently resulting in the deaths of those around her—including her parents.

As she stands on a bridge above train tracks, Fuuko is touched by a strange man, causing the footing underneath him to break and dropping him in front of an oncoming train. However, when Fuuko finds the man's corpse, she discovers that his body is regenerating and that he is coming back to life.

The man, whom Fuuko names Andy, is immortal—and like her, he also wishes for death. Initially dismissive, Fuuko eventually decides to team up with Andy to give him the best death possible; but a mysterious organization lurks in the shadows, hoping to take advantage of the duo's bizarre abilities. VIZ Media began simulpublishing the manga with the Japanese release in English on its Shounen Jump platform in January 2020 and released the eighth volume on July 19. The ninth volume is planned for an October 18 release.

While this isn't my favorite Jump manga, it does go to some pretty unique places. I think the anime has a chance to really break out.

I wonder if it will be a complete adaptation since the manga can easily end in another 20-50 chapters right now

I hope so. I read somewhere that manga is entering in its climax.
it just hit one of the major points of the story where after this coming arc there's only the final battle left

I wonder how they are going to handle the constant nudity

Blu-ray discs will contain all the uncensored staff, don't worry.

About time. Read 9 chapters of this so far. David Production? There goes my hope of it being a long-running anime with no breaks.
at least it'll be top quality. Though long running animes without breaks aren't common nowadays unless it's done by Pierrot

So far Stone Ocean is the only recent bad looking show David Pro have done, prolly because of netlfix

Eh, it said some rough elements in specific episodes, but as a whole it definetily does not look bad. The whole thing with batch releases is definetily affecting it.
Compared to Spriggan where almost every episode looked liked a Movie, so all Nettlix's fault with their batch releases and all.
