The official website of the television anime adaptation of Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yuusuke Nomura's soccer-themed manga Blue Lock revealed additional cast, theme song performers, a second promotional video, and second key visual on Friday (pictured).
The anime will premiere on October 9 at 1:30 a.m. on TV Asahi's NUMAnimation programming block. A compilation of the first two episodes will be screened in theaters from September 23 to October 6, featuring additional footage.
Cast
Ikki Niko: Natsuki Hanae (Gunjou no Fanfare)
Junichi Wanima, Keisuke Wanima: Ryouta Suzuki (number24)
Sae Itoshi: Takahiro Sakurai (Diamond no Ace)
J-pop band UNISON SQUARE GARDEN (Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru) will perform the first opening theme "Chaos ga Kiwamaru," which is previewed in the promotional video below. The ending theme "WINNER" will be performed by Shuugo Nakamura (Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy), who is voicing Gin Gagamaru in the anime.
Tetsuaki Watanabe (Mahoujin Guruguru (2017) assistant director) is helming the anime at 8bit. Taku Kishimoto (Haikyuu!!) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Yuu Shindou (Macross Δ), Kenji Tanabe (Binbougami ga!), and Kento Toya (Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu) are designing the characters. Kaneshiro and Nomura began serializing the soccer manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine in August 2018. Kodansha published the 20th volume on July 15.

btw the visuals and animation is mid or average but maybe this is a long running anime or a seasonal anime thats why they are being conservative with the production quality

I'm hoping this series just doesn't get a Tomodachi Game treatment but most likely not since I've seen spoilers about the previews on the episodes, had an interesting animation.

At first sight it looks amazing. The opening is, at least, good. High hopes for this one, I'm waiting to see how they do on crucial moments. Even if the work team is the equivalent of a newly promoted to tier 1 team
