'Tribe Nine' Announces Supporting Cast Members [Updated 11/18]

The official website of the Tribe Nine television anime revealed five supporting cast members on Thursday. The original anime series by Kazutaka Kodaka (Akudama Drive) will air in January 2022.

Cast
Fuchou Sonoda: Junta Terashima (Tsukipro The Animation)
Enoki Yukigaya: Reina Kondou (Dorohedoro)
Kiyoshiro Haneda: Yukihiro Nozuyama (Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle - Rhyme Anima)
Roku Saigou: Kenichirou Matsuda (Vinland Saga)
Kai Asahikawa: Gakuto Kajiwara (Black Clover)

Yuu Aoki (Bean Bandit) is directing the anime at LIDENFILMS. Michiko Yokote (Jikan no Shihaisha) is handling the series composition, and Yousuke Yabumoto (Duel Masters VS) is designing the characters. Masafumi Takada (Danganronpa: Kibou no Gakuen to Zetsubou no Koukousei The Animation) is composing the music.

Kind of weird image for Sports anime. But I did like Kazutaka Kodaka previous 2 works. So hoping it to be good

Hopefully, this is better than Akudama Drive. Akudama started off pretty well but pretty much collapsed towards the final few episodes for me.

Hopefully this keeps the manic violent energy Akudama had throughout the series instead of petering out halfway through.

Most people are talking about being drawn to this via the guy making it also doing Danganronpa, but I’m here from Akudama Drive. This looks really cool. Who would’ve thought a show about baseball would look so awesome?
