Multimedia Project 'Technoroid' Announces Anime Adaptation [Update 11/6]

Game developer CyberAgent, production company Avex Pictures, and music production group Elements Garden announced a multimedia project titled Technoroid on Monday. The media-mix project will include an anime, game, and music.

Music composer Noriyasu Agematsu (Senki Zesshou Symphogear, Visual Prison), lyricist RUCCA (Takaki Mizoguchi) (Uta no☆Prince-sama♪: Maji Love 1000%, Yagate Kimi ni Naru), and Elements Garden (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken, Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen) are credited as the original creators.

Doga Kobo (Selection Project, Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi) is producing the anime project and WonderPlanet Inc. is developing the game, both of which are scheduled for a 2022 premiere. Illustrator LAM (Takt Op. Destiny) drew the teaser visual.

Update November 6
The Technoroid multimedia project presentation livestream unveiled the staff, character roles, a project promo, and unit visuals (pictured below) for the anime on Saturday. The anime will broadcast under the title Technoroid: Overmind in 2022. The smartphone game Technoroid: Unison Heart is also expected to be released in early 2022.

Synopsis
Technoroid: Overmind is set in the Entertainment Tower Babel, a new hope found by those who have lost the joy of light as humanity's activities are restricted due to the large-scale climate change caused by the expanded sun. The anime depicts unique units and characters fighting for the top of Babel, pursuing emotions that move people and androids through performances.
