No. The manga is about this boy's journey to learn ballet. It criticises general opinions about how a male should be/do but it is just one of the themes in the manga.
It baffles me how people eager judge without even reading the story themselves.

It was three pages of panty shots and they had the boy blushing like a horndog.. It was very deliberate.. Basically ecchi/fanservice..

So you looked at it but didn't read it..
Apparently you've never read a manga before..
Those are not pages but panels..
In a seinen drama fanservice mostly serves for character but not for the reader (in this case it is for the character)..
A highschool boy would blush to his crush and of course they might be as horny as real teens..
And I find a fictional character blushing for the girl he loves more real than a real person calling a fictional character horndog from the a few pages they've seen...

So what.. The manga is supposed to be a critique on toxic masculinity but they tought it was a good idea to fill the pages with crotch shots of a girl's panties..

So this will be a ballet version of Welcome to the Ballroom? Or something like that ballet school manga?

@this_shit_again I'm not entirely sure if your idea of the manga is correct, but in general it's called "Zach Snyder's feminism." You know, those hundreds of hot chick action shows that appeal to teen boys but still consider themselves woke.

The cover art looks really similar to Ballroom e Youkoso but I just hope the characters don't have elastic necks....

You know these japanese animators really don't have it easy right ... so in japan they are treated like shit, underpaid, overworked ... and then even here some random dude is like "what a waste of animation".

Jesus, poor animators.

This sounds interesting. I really like Ballroom e Youkoso and wished they made more seasons of that. I will have to jump into the original content. I hope this can compare, if so, it will be worth it.

In which case this is going to be a waste of animators' labour.

Lmao. You must have not heard that hentai and child rape animes don't create themselves out of thin air.

Most importantly, people still read MAL reviews? Gosh.

Definitely something to look forward to.

So is this good like Ballroom e Youkoso or is it one of those cringe mangas about a dense MC who dont know what he wants, and is usually published in josesi magazines at the last page ?

Judging from the only review, albeit it only covers the starting chapters. The story looks to affirm rather than challenge traditional and toxic (hetero)masculine norms and behaviour.

You shouldn't trust a review on MAL, even if a manga/anime has numerous reviews. This is just that kind of site.

This series is not Ballroom e Youkoso. Just because it is about dancing you can not expect the same allure. From the 8 chapters I've read, the main character loves ballet but has inner conflict about doing what he wants and doing what others expect from him. It criticises conventional gender roles in public's eye (in this case Japan's).

Hope it does well, I want to see more dancing manga get adapted. Maybe one day Wondance get adapted too. (one can only wish because it will be near impossible to use all the songs used in that manga ^^ )

I really enjoy this manga from the few chapters that I've read. The art style of the manga is very interesting and it kinda reminded me of Ballroom e Youkoso.

Definitely looking forward to seeing this anime adaptation. Hopefully, the studio working on this will do a great job.

This looks like Ballroom e Youkoso which is great because I loved that show.
