'Edens Zero' Reveals Supporting Cast Members, Theme Song Artists

The official website for the Edens Zero television anime revealed on Friday supporting cast members, theme song artists, and the first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 11 at 12.55 a.m. on NTV. Netflix will stream the anime worldwide in 2021.

Elsie Crimson: Sayaka Ohara (Fairy Tail)
Ziggy: Houchuu Ootsuka (Golden Kamuy)
Mother: Kikuko Inoue (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari)

Singer and record producer Takanori Nishikawa (Fate/Extra: Last Encore), also known as T.M.Revolution, is performing the opening theme "Eden through the rough." CHiCO with HoneyWorks (Gintama°) will perform the ending theme "Bouken no VLOG." The opening theme is previewed in the promotional video below.

Yuji Suzuki (Fairy Tail: Final Series episode director) is helming the anime at J.C Staff, with chief director Shinji Ishihara (Log Horizon). Mitsutaka Hirota (Nanbaka) is handling the series composition and script, and Yurika Sako (Satsuriku no Tenshi animation director) is designing the characters. Yoshihisa Hirano (Hunter x Hunter (2011)) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Hiro Mashima's sci-fi adventure manga, which began in Weekly Shounen Magazine in June 2018. Kodansha will ship the 14th compiled volume on March 17. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English and will release the 11th volume on May 4.

I'm just relieved af that Ohara is voicing Elsie. Would have been beyond disappointing not hearing her as pirate Erza lol.

Dude another Netflix one dang it. They already have Shaman king, now this. I want to watch some fresh, new, long-running shonen this season. Whatever there are still more anime to keep me occupied but I was really looking forward to this one. But I'll binge it when it comes on Netflix. But cool voice actors.

Also, another NETFLIX series!? Really?! First Shaman King and now this!?

I still have plenty to go through in the spring, so this actually makes things easier for me, but it's sad that there's another show I was looking forward to watching weekly.

This might be a good thing though, since I wasn't into most of the JP voice cast

Also, the action looks pretty good looking at the PV, so that's cool

Wanted Takanashi Yasuharu to do the music but Yoshihisa Hirano definitely won't disappoint.

It's kinda odd to see Takanori Nishikawa doing the OP for this typical nakama shounen anime but this OP sounds amazing.

Will it be a long running anime of over 100 episodes like Fairy Tail?

At first I was looking forward to this, but then I found out it was going to be a Netflix series. smh. Another anime I have to take off the list and put it to the side due to Netflix jail.

The OP (or was it the ED) sounds hype, I like it. The animation looks good but this is just the PV so we can't for sure. Also I heard the word "tomodachi" way more than I could bear with, I know I shouldn't judge a show simply by it's premise but if Fairy Tail is anything to go by this is going to be even more generic, hope I'm wrong though Lmao
