Staff and Cast Announced for 'Magatsu Wahrheit' TV Anime

On the first anniversary of the Magatsu Wahrheit smartphone game on Thursday, it was revealed that the accompanying anime project announced in 2018 will be a television series titled Magatsu Wahrheit: Zuerst. The main staff, cast, a teaser visual (pictured), and the first promotional video were also unveiled. The series is scheduled to premiere in 2020.

Synopsis
Two young people living in the Wahrheit Empire are planning to relocate to the capital city: the shy Inumael who works as a transporter and left his beloved sister behind at his parents' home, and Leocaido, a naive new soldier of the Empire who spent his days in the imperial city thinking of his future as a soldier.

In the Empire, countless human beings were once extinguished from the world. The return of the "light," the disaster that summoned a ferocious monster into the world, is predicted, and the remaining humans' spirits are devastated. Meanwhile, the fate of Inumael, Leocadio, and the history of the Empire will change drastically as a result of one weapon smuggling incident.

Indeed, it mistranslation. Character's description states:
実家に残した妹のシセルを溺愛する。
He adores his little sister Sisel [?], whom he's left at his family's home.

Nothing this studio has done has gotten a score above a 7, so I don't have high hopes for this show, but the premise is interesting and the trailer looks good, so I'm gonna keep an eye on it.

First thing I thought when I read the synopsis was, "This sounds a bit like Rage of Bahamut's plot, but darker." Which isn't a bad thing. :P

Looking at the studio responsible I expect nothing of decent quality... but considering the director working on it, I fear I will be only further disappointed. Is money really all such people can motivate themselves with? Their talent is worth more than that...
