The official website of the Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu (How Not to Summon a Demon Lord) anime series announced a second season on Thursday. The new season will air under the title Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Ω in 2021.

Synopsis
When it comes to the fantasy MMORPG Cross Reverie, none can match the power of the Demon King Diablo. Possessing the game's rarest artifacts and an unrivaled player level, he overpowers all foolish enough to confront him. But despite his fearsome reputation, Diablo's true identity is Takuma Sakamoto, a shut-in gamer devoid of any social skills. Defeating hopeless challengers day by day, Takuma cares about nothing else but his virtual life—that is, until a summoning spell suddenly transports him to another world where he has Diablo's appearance!

In this new world resembling his favorite game, Takuma is greeted by the two girls who summoned him: Rem Galeu, a petite Pantherian adventurer, and Shera L. Greenwood, a busty Elf summoner. They perform an Enslavement Ritual in an attempt to subjugate him, but the spell backfires and causes them to become his slaves instead. With the situation now becoming more awkward than ever, Takuma decides to accompany the girls in finding a way to unbind their contract while learning to adapt to his new existence as the menacing Demon King. To get back to the point, you said "Isn't it..." so I assumed you were questioning or denying the statement of Sarthos

It's interesting that they appended Ω to the title. It's the last letter of the Greek alphabet and usually means The End or The Ultimate.

Many other lower known series could have their second season even of it is not announced within a year.
Ohh.. I thought that you are hoping to get a second season of a specific series but I see your point.

This was slightly unexpected from all trends. I mean getting a sequel announced after a considerable time for this type of series.

This gives me hope...

I am a big fan of isekai shows and almost watched all of them(at least the ones that came out last decade) and out of all the shows I watched, this was the show which I wanted to have the second season the most. This is one of the best comedy and action and harame and ecchi show out there.

A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

I didn't expect this to have a second season.

More fun with Shera and Rem and Diablo makes a great isekai protagonist!
