Manga author Shinichirou Ooe took to Twitter to reveal the main cast for the Komatta Jiisan TV anime on Monday. The anime, which was announced last December, is an adaptation of Ooe's web manga of the same name. Komatta Jiisan will premiere on BS NTV in Japan on April 8 at 11:29 p.m. Each episode will be one minute long.

Satoshi Hino (Overlord) is voicing Jiisan (Grandpa), an old man who is young at heart, and Inori Minase (5-toubun no Hanayome) will play the recipient of his flirtatious behavior, Baasan (Grandma). Hino will also perform the anime's theme song, "Jiisan no Love Love♥Scat." Toshiyuki Morikawa (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 4: Diamond wa Kudakenai) will narrate the love comedy.

Staff
Director: Hiroshi Namiki (Kawauso Labo)
Sound Director: Yuu Saitou (Marumaru Manul)
Music: Hiroto Sasaki (Tsubu★Doll)
Studio: Kachidoki Studio

Ooe originally published Komatta Jiisan on his personal Twitter account in November 2018, and its popularity led to him publishing it on the LINE Manga service beginning January 2019. The first compiled volume was published by Kadokawa last November on the manga's first anniversary.
