Light Novel 'Sentouin, Hakenshimasu!' Gets TV Anime

A livestream event celebrating the first year anniversary of Kadokawa's light novel recommendation website Kimirano announced a television anime adaptation of Natsume Akatsuki's Sentouin, Hakenshimasu! (Combatants Will Be Dispatched!) light novel on Sunday.

Synopsis
Always bring a gun to a sword fight!

With world domination nearly in their grasp, the Supreme Leaders of the Kisaragi Corporation—an underground criminal group turned evil megacorp—have decided to try their hands at interstellar conquest. A quick dice roll nominates their chief operative, Combat Agent Six, to be the one to explore an alien planet...and the first thing he does when he gets there is change the sacred incantation for a holy ritual to the most embarrassing thing he can think of.

But evil deeds are business as usual for Kisaragi operatives, so if Six wants a promotion and a raise, he'll have to work much harder than that! For starters, he'll have to do something about the other group of villains on the planet, who are calling themselves the "Demon Lord's Army" or whatever. After all, this world doesn't need two evil organizations! (Source: Yen Press, edited)

Akatsuki originally published the fantasy comedy series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in August 2012 and posted the 68th installment in September that year before switching to Kakuyomu in October 2017. The novel has been published by the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint since November 2017, featuring illustrations by Kakao Lanthanum. The fifth volume went on sale on January 1. Sentouin, Hakenshimasu! has sold a cumulative 200,000 copies of its volumes.

A manga adaptation drawn by Masaaki Kiasa began its serialization in Monthly Comic Alive magazine in March 2018. Kadokawa published the third volume on September 20 last year, with the fourth volume shipping on March 23.

Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga in English last February. The third manga and light novel volume will go on sale on August 18 and 21, respectively.

I don't want to annoy people who like their type of humor, but it is to generalize "that it will be good just because the author did such a thing" Also that his humor is starting to get repetitive "Cautious hero" IS konosuba, but with other characters and worst made, same premise put the typical guy who annoys one or several silly girls.
Also, isn't it too soon for them to adapt this novel? it only has 5 volumes
meanwhile "She professed herself pupil of the wise man" has 12 T_T

Which is funny because cautious hero isn't written by the same author

Omg this is going to be great. Reading both the novel and manga so I don't want to get dissappointed.

Well there's not any nudity in the novels atleast. More like fanservice type of things happening. But we've seen anime with worse so it's going to be all right.. I hope.

Very nice! I laught a lot with the mischef system thing and No.6 doing some crazy s**t mostly in how he likes to mess with Snow and the Princess. And I'm really interested in who will play Alice's voice. She's very cynical.

But I'm kinda worried about how the R content will perform coz No.6 is a maniac!

I remember passing this one by at a bookstore thinking this was another one of 'those' light novels. But now knowing it's from the author of Konosuba? I might have to check this one out before the adaptation comes out.
