'Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai: The Clouds Gather' Announces Additional Cast
The official website for Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai: The Clouds Gather (Twittering Birds Never Fly: The Clouds Gather) revealed eight new cast members on Friday. Kageyama Kanji: Hiroki Yasumoto (Yuri!!! on Ice)
Akira Kuga: Yuuki Ono (Beastars)
Takahito Misumi: Tooru Ookawa (Shiki)
Atsushi Ryuuzaki: Kenta Miyake (Boku no Hero Academia)
Kazuaki Hirata: Akimitsu Takase (Shingeki no Kyojin)
Yuusuke Nanahara: Kazuyuki Okitsu (Fruits Basket 1st Season)
Shizuma Amou: Takuya Satou (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun)
Hayato Sugimoto: Takahiro Miyake (Diamond no Ace)
Yasumoto, Ono, Tooru, Kenta Miyake, and Okitsu are reprising their roles from Frontier Works' audio drama adaptation.
The film adaptation of Kou Yoneda's boys' love drama manga is being directed by Kaori Makita (Banana Fish episode director) at GRIZZLY, and Hiroshi Seko (Owari no Seraph) is writing the script. The film will be the first title released under Fuji TV's Blue Lynx label, which primarily focuses on theatrical boys' love productions.
