3DCG Theatrical Anime 'Lupin III: The First' Announces Guest Cast

The official website for the 3DCG anime film Lupin III: The First revealed guest cast and a trailer on Wednesday. It will open in Japan on December 6.

Cast
Luticia: Suzu Hirose (Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka?)
Lambert: Koutarou Yoshida (Dragon Quest: Your Story)
Geralt: Tatsuya Fujiwara (Death Note live action)

Takashi Yamazaki (Stand By Me Doraemon) is directing and writing the film at TMS Entertainment and Yuji Ohno will reprise his role from previous Lupin III entries to compose the music. Marza Animation Planet is producing the CG animation.

I am really digging the high quality 3DCG the more I watch the trailer by now except not fan of any of the female character designs. They look way too cute tbh..

Few of the plot elements was kinda done before, very vaguely, but still excited to see in theatrical length. Like many other says, I too will be surprised if this doesn't get a international theatrical release and TMS will seriously waste their chance not releasing this.

This just doesn't work for me. Same deal with the DQ V movie they made. 3D should stay 3D and 2D should stay 2D.
